A has been restaurant. Money needs to be spent updating and improving the food. Rude staff might make it in New York for the Greek population but not in Augusta GA Spend your precious $$ elsewhere

Luigi's use to be my favorite italian style pub in Augusta to dine. Well not anymore. The staff and service both leave ALOT to be desired.

I have lived in North Augusta, sc my entire life, which borders Augusta, ga, 5 minutes away but have never been to Luigi's. I have seen it several times but never thought much of it. On the outside they have a huge neon Luigi's sign, kinda looks like a little hole in the wall place but its totally not!!! It is a quaint/romantic restaurant!!! They have tables and booths. The booths have little jukeboxes, not sure if they work or not and lots of neat pictures on the walls. The food is great and I would say maybe a couple of dollars more than your regular restaurant. The service is great too!!! I hope you have a great experience there ; ) Try The Boll Weevil Cafe' and Sweetery for dessert, they also have a full menu!! About a minute away!!

This place is wonderful. It has some of the best lasagna ever, and the cheese puffs are to die for. It is on the expensive side though, so taking kids wouldn't be recommended.

Luigi's

I guess this is what authentic Italian food should taste like. I don't care for the cramped space or that you can smell what every table is eating. If you are looking for a step back into time then this has that kind of atmosphere. Food is mediocre.

This is a great little gem in the crown of Downtown Augusta! Well prepared food, classic Italian-Old world atmosphere, great prices, and a very friendly staff. If you're in the mood for real Italian fare, and don't want to waste time with fancy-schmancy places, go here!

Needs Consistency.
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 12/26/07
The food isn't to die for, but for those who work downtown, it's at a good location. The service my co-workers and I received last time was pretty terrible. The waitress and the hostess took WAY too long to add up the checks causing us to be about 15 minutes late from our lunch break. It was highly frustrating, especially since they automatically add a lunch gratuity regardless of how many people are in your party (you could be by yourself and they will still add a gratuity to your bill). The lunch menu is okay if you like spaghetti. It depends on who is cooking the day you go. Sometimes you get lots and lots of food, and somedays you wish you had a little more. The customer service is pretty inconsistent, some days are great, and some are pretty bad. Just hope you catch them on a good day.
