After a long time I finally found an Indian restaurant that has authentic food. I loved everything about the restaurant. The Hara kabab was awesome. I am planning to make it atleast a once a week deal. I was taken there by one of my Indian collegues. According to him, he has not had better indian food in US.
I went there about 2 years back and the food was bad for vegetarions.I again went back about 2 months ago and the food quality has greatly improved , serivce is good as it is family owned and will recommend to others.Definetly one of the best Indian restaurants in the area.
We went to the restaurant on Saturday night. We were just passing by. We ordered Goat Biryani, Kadhai Gosht and Tandoori chicken.
We truly loved the food. The biryani was sooo flavorful (without being overly spicy) and the goat meat practically rolled off the bone. Perfect.
The tandoori chicken was also out of this world. It tasted so good even the next day (usually it becomes too dry/hard).
The Kadhai gosht was not perfect but was also very good.
We will definitely try the buffet soon.
Our favorite Indian place has now changed from Pongal to Mehmaan.
Will report back on the buffet later.
I was introduced by a friend, I found the food to be truly authentic and perfectly cooked, excellent value for money, I came out full without my purse being empty! The atmosphere is relaxing without the service being neglected, I would recomend Mehmaan to anyone who is a true lover of all Indian foods, with a wide variety to choose from.
3 Years ago this restaurant was great...not anymore. The chicken curry has a bbq flavor, the naan is burnt. It seems like they changed their recipes or something but it doesn't taste as good as it used to. I don't think I could go back...
Went in for the lunch buffet yesterday and was am not happy. One person running the kitchen as well as the dining room. Not much food on the buffet there were a lot of unhappy customers in the dining room. Fortunately the girl from the grocery store stopped in and was able to get me some water and my check. No food and no service is no way to run a restaurant.
One of my favorite Indian restaurants in the area. The buffet has a decent variety and it was all fresh and tasty. They don't charge for the buffet for young kids which is great. They also use oil instead of ghee on most things (naan uses ghee) which is great for those who can't have dairy. I've never had a bad meal there and the staff are always friendly and helpful.
The place is now called Handi.
Went there on Thanks Giving day with my wife for a change of pace. This is the best Indian cuisine we have ever had.
The buffet allows you a wide variety of choices.
Try it out!
