If I could go No Stars, I would. Very RUDE people! I ordered a large wonton and only received two, yes, two wontons in my large. I went back and asked about the price in relation to what we got. I then received a VERY RUDE verbal attack by the short, little man at the desk. He then proceeded to demonstrate how they package the wonton soup - and YES, they do only put two wontons in a Large container and charge more for the broth! His words!! $4.25 for large wonton soup = 2 wontons and lots of broth. He tried to make an #$%$ out of me in front of other customers. Not happening. My advice, go someplace else that has reasonable prices, like the Hibachi Grill next to Quality Foods. The people there are really nice, and the food is better. Stay Away from Bamboo House!! They don t treat you with respect, and they OVERCHARGE!!
Steve in a great guy with a big smile when greeting you at the door. They have the best Hot and Sour soup you will ever try and the Sesame Chicken is awesome. Their service is better than most Five Star Restuarant. Toccoa is luck to have such a great place to eat.
I've been eating at the Bamboo House as long as they have been opened. And you won't find nicer people and wonderful food at a great price. And they always have time for a good chat with you as well. My hometown place to eat.
Service with a smile, always. Probably the best service in town. Drawback-buffet is small and lacks a lot. Order from the menu and you'll be happy. Specials (esp. lunch) are a great value. My mother in law went there a year after moving away and they remembered her favorite dish.
The food is excellent. The service is awesome. They go to great lengths to make sure their food is great and their customers are happy. You can always count on a warm, friendly greeting upon entering the door. Whether it's take-out or dine-in, the food is always great! The Bamboo House of Toccoa is excellent.
The Bamboo House in Toccoa, Georgia has excellent Chinese-American Cuisine at a very low price for their buffet and reasonable prices from their menu. You are attended to by a very helpful staff and served delicious food. The buffet is continously rotated for fresh product and if you have any concerns the manager, Steven, is more than happy to accomodate any problems you may have. The restaurant may not be the largest or have a biggest buffet bar in town but it is certainly the best.
