Very bad! Roach crawling up wall. I told the waitress to give my son a kids meal and she charged him for an adult meal and would not change it. I wasn t hungry so I got fried rice and a order of sushi. It only cost $7.47. They have a policy of $7.50 a seat. I told her to just add .03 cents to my bill. They automatically added an 18 percent tip They did it on the taxed amount and not the subtotal. It was about $2.00 more than it should have been. I told the waitress and she said the computer does it and it is right. I should her on a calculator it was incorrect. She could not explain the reason it was wrong and would not change it. I changed it on the receipt myself with the amount it should have been, then signed my receipt. Looked at bank account the next day and she put in the full amount, not the amount I signed for. The place is nasty and the staff is rude, I will not go back.
Just moved here recently and decided to try this place out. Was a little hesitant from the looks of the outside but I'm sure glad we went in. The greeting staff was friendly and we were seated after a short wait. It was surprisingly busy for a weeknight and all the other patrons seemed to be enjoying their dinners. We had an amazing meal prepared for us with huge portions which were promptly devoured that same night. The ginger dressing on my salad was the best that I have tasted of any Japanese restaurant. The shrimp sauce was also delicious. All in all, I'm really glad we found this place.
Just had dinner here for the first time. The food was excellent and the portions were huge. Service was good and the chef - i think his name was javy - cooked my steak exactly like i wanted. I had the college meal and there is no way I could get steak in atlanta or athens for that matter for the price i paid here. Will definately return.
Will we just had a early bird meal at Inokos It looks like these reviews are very old and I do remember when this was a great place to eat?
Anyway we had a party of 9 The food was great but the service was not anything to write home about waited about 10 min for the waitress to come back to ck on us and we needed some help with a cleanup spill that came from one of there crazy pop drinks?? That popped when we opened it? Then when we got the bills they had took the liberty to add an 18% tip to everyones bill?? After we added it up this tip came to about an extra 30 bucks!! I don't like the idea of anyone adding a tip to any bill much less this kind of 18% rip off!! Maybe at the most the service was worth 10 bucks and that is streching it!! Anyway so much for the early bird special!! Will sure make me think twice before my next visit??
It was my parents 30 year anniversary surprise celebration. We were set up with a private room, we had excellent service from start to finish. The “server” bent over backwards for us helping us get things set up before our parents arrival, even putting our cake in the refrigerator for us and coordinating the timing of when to bring out the cake. The food was EXCELLENT - huge portions. We requested a more experienced chef and we got one of the funniest most entertaining guys we could have asked for. My dad and the “server” hit it off and talked about Korean food (my dad is a Korean War Vet). Come to find out our server was actually the “owner” – all I can say is “THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE ANYWHERE”. I was truly impressed.
Never have I been so bored in my life. When we go to a hibachi restaurant, we not only expect food to be cooked in front of us...but a fun show along with that. This cook was very boring. He made the food, made the infamous onion volcano, and left. I've seen better. Not to mention that the server spilled HOT soup on us and did not even offer to comp our meal. I heard this is the only hibachi restaurant in Athens, so if you MUST go, stay away from the incompetent server who spills soup on you. I don't remember her name, so stay away from any server with glasses.
I have nothing bad to say about this place. The food was great, the service was great, and the leftovers I ate today was great! If you are ever in Athens, this is a place you cannot miss. It's practically an Athens landmark!
