You've just gotta try their Brunswick Stew one time and you'll be hooked! The Barbecue is outstanding of course and everyone is so friendly and down-home. When I think barbecue in north georgia, I think of Smokehouse Barbecue!

The Best Place in North GA. The Stew is outstanding, the people are sweet. best place for BBQ.

Some of the best BBQ I have found in North GA and I am a BBQ snob. STEW is wonderful. Pork is lean and moist. Slaw is finely graded with both a creamy taste and a little vinegar maybe. Two pickles on top of slaw. I drive 30 miles to eat here. Fair price. Nice folks too.

Best there is!!! tasty and lean - cooked on site - incredible ribs and pulled pork - people go nuts over banana cream pudding - heavy local crowd for over 20 years. In my business, out of towners time their visit to arrive Thursday, Friday so they can have lunch here. Literal screened porch shack ambiance.

excellent bbq, tasty stew, but a littel too fine for my taste, but smooth. this is a fine bbq joint! only open on thur, fri and sat though.
