Hunan Gourmet Restaurant, Sandy Springs

This place was simply amazing!!! I went to dine in with a couple of friends and the staff was/is very friendly! I wasn't really sure of what to order, so I kept asking the waitress, and the waitress was very nice and helpful, she didn't mind me asking all those questions. (I ended up going with the green curry chicken, it it was delicious!!) The prices are reasonable and the serving sizes for dinner are quite large, so you get what you paid for. LOVED IT!! I'll be going there again soon.

This place was awful. I didn't even get a chance to try the food because after 45 minutes I got tired of waiting. As I was getting a refund for my prepaid takeout another woman asked to see the manager because her table had been waiting for 40 minutes and still hadn't gotten her food.

Awesome restaurant and the staff has always been friendly and fast. I have been going here for about 12 years and never disappointed. Their Chinese food is great but they also have really good Thai food. My favorite dish is the Spicy Triple Delight. Their Summer Chicken is also a good bet along with their Sesame Chicken and Mongolian Beef.

amazing food... the lo mein is very good although just a tad bit greasy. dumplings and wonton soup are also great. never a wait, too.

Tried Sesame shrimp tonight. So good. I thought I'd try something new. Saw Sesame chicken but asked if they could make it with shrimp instead; delicious! Glad I decided to be adventurous today. So sad to see HG closes Mondays now. I understand, the family needs a break. I guess no HG takeout for Monday night football =(

We have been going to Hunan Gourmet for 10 years now. It is ALWAYS excellent. The service is always top notch. We live quite a distance from the restaurant, so we can't go there very often, but the staff always remembers us. I love the cloth tablecloths and napkins. The food is consistently fresh, hot, and NOT GREASY. Everything is wonderful. Please give this restaurant a try! I know you will not be disappointed. The prices are VERY reasonable for the great quality and services you receive. Thanks, Hunan!

Good Thai chicken with eggplant.

I must start with repeatiing the above review... I have always gone to the take out side of the restraunt. However tonight we dined in and, It was great. The thai food has a wonderful flavor. The server was wonderful, and did a great job making a charming atmosphere. The prices, and portions were great.
