Flatiron Restaurant & Bar, Atlanta

I use to go to college in Atlanta. If you're use to the ritzy Buckhead places, this place is too gritty for you. Flatiron is my favorite place to go to in Atlanta. I love the bar food. Try the wings- they are still my favorite. If you're feeling adventurous, try the hummus. At first, I didn't think I'd like it but Flatiron is the only place I will eat it. The drinks are inexpensive and strong. The selection of beer is better than most chain restaurants but it's not all that expansive. It gets loud at night and it's relatively quiet during the day and not nearly as smoky. The staff isn't hovering over you all the time and you may have to flag them down but they have always been nice. You can't beat the prices either- especially if you're a college student looking for a good time on a budget. The crowd is mixed- young (just 21) and older (mid to late 30's sometimes 40's).
