Houston's Restaurant, Atlanta

When the shopping grind at Lenox Square takes it out of you, put it back in across the street at Houston's. The low light and dark wood make for a warm environment that's as suitable for families as it is for meat-loving couples. The brass-appointed bar becomes lively after work and on weekends, and is serviceable by the kitchen for solo dining. The steaks, prime rib and baby back ribs are superb, not to mention much more reasonably priced than at some of the other well-known restaurants in the neighborhood. The salmon also comes highly recommended.
