Bones, Atlanta

My Wife and I had been searching for a new place to pamper ourselves and we found that place in Bones. First off, we arrived 30 minutes earlier than our reservation and it was no problem, we were immediately seated. I ordered the dry aged ribeye, my wife had the filet, with sides of mashed potatoes and mushrooms. Ewww... I almost forgot the lobster bisque do not pass the bisque up it is delicious. We ended the meal with cheese cake, everything was awesome and the service was top notch. Everything I order at Bones was great ( even my long island) I plan on making this a more regular event.

Their food is great. I usually go here when my family comes and visits or with a couple of friends.

I finally went to Bone's last night after nearly 14 years in Atlanta. I'm kind of embarrassed to admit that, considering that I've always heard that it was one of the best steakhouses in Atlanta and I claim to be somewhat of a steak connoisseur. I can't say that I got the full experience though, we arrived pretty late and ate at the bar. The service was excellent, exactly what you'd expect from a fine dining establishment. The ambiance was nice. The food was really good. I had the dry aged bone in rib eye. It was cooked exactly as I requested and tasted just how the server described it. It was good; however, I wouldn't say it was the best that I've ever had. Stoney River (and my own) are still #1 in my book - sorry! The enormous loaded baked potato was exceptional though and the sauteed spinach was pretty good. Finally, the last factor.....price. This was one of the pricer steakhouses that I've eaten at. The steak I had was about $20 more than what I'm used to paying. In conclusion, I'm really glad that I had a chance to finally experience Bone's and I would recommend it. I will continue to try other places around Atlanta, but, in my opinion, it is going to be really hard to beat Stoney River.

worst meal i have ever had and for 400 dollars (for four of us). sloooow service and far too undercooked meat. it was sent back to be cooked and when the SAME steak came out it was chewy and dry. not worth 32 dollars.

Get the grit fritters. The best side dish I've had anywhere hands down and big enough to split by two healthy appetites. The steaks are delicious, in the top five I've had at any price. Service was excellent and not near as stuffy as I expected from a place with the reputation of excellence that Bone's has. Expect about $150 for two which represents a godd value in fine dining in Atlanta.

Just saw the reviews on Yahoo and I must say that every compliment could be taken as understatement. Yes, Bones is that good. Want better? You'll need to visit a Kobi steak house in Tokyo to find better. Bones 'pricey'? Actually, you get more than you pay for at Bones.

From Congressmen and local businessmen to the newly weds and good friends..... a diverse crowd enjoying the same special experience. Bone's is a must!

Great place for lunch or dinner. Great business spot. A bit pricey but worth it. The decor is beautiful and lots and lots of space. Service was fabulous. I never had to ask for anything. Our server was hillarious.
