really like the ribs here... spinach dip is best there is!

Not bad, but not great. For what you pay, I would have expected a bigger steak. Does not come close to some other restaurants that I have been to (i.e. Stoney River) for quality vs price.

For a chain restaurant, Houston's is about your best choice and definitely better than Cheesecake Factory. Personally, I prefer Ted's Montana Grill over Houston's but Houston's has more ambiance and a more up-scale feel. You can't go wrong with any salad, the steaks are a safe bet, the fish is good (but sometimes over-cooked), and I love the crab cakes and the veggie burger. The worst thing about Houston's is the crowd -- both the sheer numbers and the annoying type of person who tends to eat there.

Houston's has amazeing food,you must try the stake, but if you ask me there ribs put that stake to shame.

I have frequented Houston's here in Atlanta and in New Orleans when we lived in La. and it has been consistantly great! I love the ambiance and the pork chops and club sandwich are my favorite....my husband loves the salads which we always share. Dynell on Peachtree is our favorite waiter!

Waitress was rude, Management refused to change the waitress, I complained when I saw an employee picking his nose over the steak grill and rubbing it on his apron...James was his name...refused to do anything about it and told me if I didn't like it, I could go somewhere else for all he cared! I then got up and asked for another manager, this other woman came over and told me that she couldn't help me, that they didn't need our business, they had plenty of it to go around and she wouldn't care if we left either...He was rude and embarrased us, she was just plain nasty....so since there was a conflict, I decided to leave because I didn't want them doing anything else nasty over the food. We went to Steak and Ales Downtown, Food was excellent...Waitress was great!!! Another option would be Mckendricks, they are a little bit pricey, but well worth the effort.

When I go to Houston's, I don't ask for a menu. I already know what I want and you guessed it...the ribs. It comes with two sides so I usually indulge my arteries with the fries and then usually get something green. The fries, however shoestring in the most literal sense, are testy. Be it resolved that the lime light of my plate are the ribs, that I happened to see cooking on they way. The sight of a bbq, inside or out, has always pleased this critic's nose and eyes. How can I not mention the dessert and be burdened with regret? What meal is complete without the quenching of the sweet tooth....Houston's gets my stamp of approval. My next date will be at Houston's!
