Murphy's, Atlanta

I attended your restaurant on Sunday Feb. 8, 2009 with my family to celebrate a loved ones birthday. I had a terrible experience that included our waitress coming to the table to tell us our food was on the way out when we had placed no order yet, the waitress sipped hot tea on my aunt, we requested separate tickets and at the end of brunch we received one ticket for us to figure out on our own who owed what. the waitress walked off three times leaving us to decided who owed what. I had to go get a manager to help us figure it out. In additional to all of this, i checked my bank account this morning and saw a charge of $130.38 from you restaurant. I did not eat that much food nor ran up a bill of that amount. The money is thus tied up in my account as a result. I an more than angry about this matter because you have caused checked to bounce in my account. I have organized a boycott of your establishment, my family and i will be out in front of your restaurant with signs. I plan to contact my bank and report unauthorized activity on my credit card.

When I was visiting Atlanta, I was so happy that a local suggested we got to this shopping area and eat at Murphy's. It felt like a locals spot and the atmosphere was incredible. The wine, food, and dessert were amazing. We went on a Saturday night and didn't wait a very long time to sit on the patio. I would recommend this to anyone visiting the Atlanta area.

Went Here with My daugher for Sunday Brunch and I really enjoyed it Great Prices Great Food. Use valet Service I didn't See sign Till I walked 3 blocks from parking spot and Go Early to avoid short wait.

My friends surprised me by planning a lunch at Murphy's after work. I was also pleasantly surprised by the great service and cozy atmosphere Murphy's had to offer. The rainbow trout was delicious and there is a huge selection of wines from their wine shop with weekly wine tastings.

This spot is perfect for brunch or dinner. The service is excellent and the ambience is wonderful, with a feel of Southern Italy. With a bonus of especially made deserts plus an extensive selection of wine store. Don't niss this heavenly delight.

The other night my partner and I had a very bad exprerience there. I emailed the management with a detailed description of what happened. I was pleasantly surprised to get a prompt return email with an apology and an offer to make it up to us. We plan to take them up on their offer and give them a second chance to make a good impression.

I have been to Murphy's several times, having formerly lived in Atlanta. It was a favorite lunch time venue for our office. I frequently ordered the spinch chicken burger, which is ground chicken with spinich inside. The real favorites at Murphy's are the desserts. It doesn't matter which - they are all good!

This spot is wonderful for brunch or dinner. The service is excellent and the ambience is lovely. The restaurant is so cozy and feels almost like dining in an old Southern home. It's great for a date or with a group of friends. Plus the wine store has an extensive selection.

Excellent atmosphere and great staff! Grilled filet is the choice of the day!
