Surin of Thailand, Atlanta

I recently moved from a heavily Thai-populated area in L.A. to Atlanta and was worried I wasn't going to be able to find a Thai place like my local spots there. I was wrong, I went to Surin for the first time today and was very impressed. The atmosphere was very hip/trendy, so I wasn't sure that the food would be so great, but I was wrong. The lunch specials are a good deal, the red curry with duck was outstanding. I would reccomend Surin to anyone looking for flavorful Thai food.

You can't help but feel that you're in NYC when you wander into this small Atlanta hotspot in trendy Va/HL. The food is authentic thai but the bustle and buzz on the inside of this restaurant is right out of Manhattan. The prices don't sting, the service is professional and the food always pleases. Not bad for the ATL.

I thought it was the best Thai food ever! We ate several appetizers, which all had the greatest dipping sauces, and each had entrees that were just awesome. Much better than I had dreamed it would be. Very excited to go back!

Okay, so I'm not the biggest Thai food fan but Surin definitely knows how to serve it up! It's flavorful, healthy and filling (great portion sizes.) It's alittle pricy (but what quality restaruant isn't) but definitely worth it. Besides, the waitstaff (at the bar in particular) are the best!

Surin's is my absolute favorite Thai spot. I love the food and the serice. The thai tea is a must have. My favorite dish is the soft shell crab with asparagas sauce. Another good choice is the 3-Flavor Red Snapper. Perfection is not even the word. The prices are really reasonable. The ambiance is great and the lighting sets a mood. My only complaint is the small tables and how close they are together. Lunch or early dinner is the best time. The place tends to get packed on the weekends.

I'm not going to lie, I started going out there when there was a thai family running Surin, the food and quality was so great I decided to come & bring more people. Though settings has changed, improved, & new technologies have come to place along with more offsprings (more restaraunts) with different staff... Some things didn't change such as the quality, quantity, & positive staff/environment. All simply for the love of Thai food. lol...

It was very tasty and i enjoyed it very much!
