What I like about Joe's is that there are no loud talking people there at night time. When you really want to sit and read, it is the spot to be. The decor is homey w/ used furniture, dark overtones, JAZZ MUSIC PLAYING IN THE BACKGROUND- A++, not that loud grunge or rap. Did I mention how quiet it is there at night. You can actually study there w/o being distracted with a conversation you don't want to hear. It's certainly better than that other conglomerate. And you cant forget...free Wi-Fi.
I heard from a number of people that Joe's was the place for a quality cup of coffee. They were wrong. Though it's better than Starbucks in almost every regard the black gold that I stopped by for left something to be desired.
Excellent service, though. Fairly knowledgible staff.
