Border Mexican Restaurant, Smyrna

Having been here a few times, the food and service are fairly decent. It's nothing extraordinary for Mexican food, but it's continuously decent. The service doesn't stand out as overly fantastic, but at least it remains consistent regardless of how busy they are. The say that they have a full bar. What I'm sure they mean to say is that they have a bar area with bar stools, but no bartender. If you sit there and expect to be served, you'll be disappointed. The space only seems to be used for demonstration purposes. The wait staff goes in and out of the area to get frozen margaritas. The parking lot is a bit cramped. So on nights where they're hoping, finding a spot can be a bit of a challenge.

Great food and great atmosphere, sit on the porch if you can. The chicken fajita salad is a great tasty value for lunch, as well as a good dinner, but really all the dishes are tasty. You won't be able to find friendlier wait staff anywhere else.
