Scalini's Italian Restaurant, Smyrna

This place is GREAT...Seriously if someone didn't like this place then they just can't be pleased...Service was over the top...The rolls and salad are worth killing over...and the meal itself was awesome...get there before 6p for the early bird special $9 entrees....I will definitely be a regular...They have been at the same place for 30 years trust me that's not by accident.

I was so shocked when I found out Scalini's is a chain!!!!! It reminded me of Luigi's in Augusta, a family owned REAL italian/greek restaurant. I think it is the BEST italian food for the money!

I simply will say, That Scalini's restaurant is indeed Italian,, but that is where it ends.I have ate there several times,but the problem is ,if you do not come early most of the specialities are gone!! After all ,It is suppossed to be an Italian restaurant,, avery good chain,indeed but not really true Italian,, I would assume most people dining there, relate the quality to olive garden,,, why oh why can not Atlanta at least support a few restaurants of etnic nature!!,, I have discovered the only true ethnic foods are of the mexican nature,, not spanish,, It is not that i have anything against Mexican fare,, it is more simply I do noy like beans and cheap cuts of meat!!

This place is soooooooooooooo good! The garlic rolls are the best! The salad is great also. My favorite dish is the lasagna! They also have little private booths with a privacy curtain!

They serve before the main course. My wife luves the garlic nuts. Authentic atmosphere with a classic Italian taste.. top 5 in ATL...holla!! Mr. Big Balz

My girlfriend loves Italian food and when she told me Olive Garden was her favorite It. Rest. -I said 'I'll take you to a REAL Italian Rest!' Never even mentioned O. G. again. And every birthday is an excuse to go. :-)

My favorite restaurant hands down. I love their lasagna.....and pretty much everything else! Eat free on your b-day!

Italian is my favorite food so maybe I'm biased but nothing is bad here. I've tried so many dishes here and loved everyone of them. The hardest part is trying to decide which one to get. The garlic rolls are covered with butter and oil and LOTS of garlic. They have a delcious alfredo sauce and the tomato sauce they use is heavenly. This place is great if you're on a date because they have the lights down low and it's a very cozy, warm atmosphere. The rolls give you super-garlic breath but hey - you'll both have it! And if you go on your birthday, they give you $10 off (but you have to show your drivers license). They're also known for their eggplant parmesan causing pregnant women to go into labor. It's works, and they've got pictures of babies all over the restaurant to prove it. Definately give this place a try. Your stomach will thank you for it!!

Scalini's is wonderful! The Chicken and Eggplant is excellent. They offer free birthday meals up to a certain amount also. The service is great and the atmosphere is very nice and relaxed.
