If you are a first-time sushi eater I HIGHLY suggest ordering the Yummy Yummy rolls. They are the most delicious creations on this entire earth! They don't always have it on the menu, but if you ask you them they will know what you're talking about =)
There is sometimes a long wait due to a lack of staff but the food is worst the wait!
P.S. This applies only to the Fuji Hana across from the Town Center Mall
As a long time repeat customer of Mt Fuji, I can say that this is simply one of the best places to get good, fresh, quality sushi around. Don is very picky about what he serves you and if you're not happy, he will make it right! Everyone I've ever taken here just comes away raving, even people who swear they will never eat sushi! Their hibachi is excellent as well, the fried rice is the best anywhere. Truly a hidden treasure in Atlanta!
This is my favorite Japanese place. Don't let the mean-looking older woman at the front scare you away. Everyone else here is friendly and outgoing. On a lot of levels they are similar to other Japanese places but Mt Fuju has surpassed the other's for a few simple reasons. The soup has more flavor than any other Japanese place I've ever been to. And that's just getting started. The fried rice is delicious and it's hard not to fill up on that but there's so much more to come. One of the things I like best about Mt Fuji is the vegetable they serve. Onion volcanoes, zuchini, broccoli, mushrooms. None of that carrots and bean sprout non-sense here. Every kind of meat you can get here is superb. And to finish it off, the prices are comparible to other places but you get an added extra at the end of the meal because dessert is included. And the show is always entertaining.
