I went in there today and at the checkout found out a product was more than the sign said it was. I asked to speak with the Manager because I felt the location of the sign was a misreprentation of the sale item. The cashier was very polite and apologetic, however the manager was rude.
I find it interesting that a company that advertises on billboards as well as throughout the store about their great customer service would employ a manager who obviously doesn't understand the importance of customer service. Several employee's were aware of the bad location of the sign which the manager said he put it there himself. I will no longer spend my money there.
I've been buying meats and veggies from this store several years and it is the only store I purchase fresh meats. Most vegetables are fairly fresh and any astute shopper would recognize them as such. My savings in meats alone pay for most of my canned goods purchased elsewhere. Most canned products are slightly higher priced than Wal-Mart and Publix. It's definately worth the drive to shop at Reids.
I use this store only for canned or frozen brand name items. The fresh produce is always 1 day from being spoiled and the fresh meat is a very low grade. I don't want to save money by getting poor quality items.
