New York City Pizza, Hilton Head Island

Terrible Service....Do not order for delivery. They messed up order and would not take care of customer. Driver was rude and argumentative and Pat Hornack the Manager was even more useless,rude and confrontational. The owner Rob Saxson should be ashamed to have a service like this. See many other negative reviews, this place is Terrible.

I just visited New York pizza, i was a regular customer, but after this experience, i don't think i'll be back. After waited for our server for over a half an hour, we finally contacted the manager, who acted clueless himself, and didn't even act like he cared. Our server finally came back to the table and told us that there was a mix up in the kitchen and our pizzas were being remade. This information should have been relayed to us when the mix up occured, instead of having us sit there for an hour before he came back to the table. The manager then came back to the table and told us 6 more minutes on the pizza, and that it was not the server's problem. I beg to differ because it was the server's reponsibility to acknowledge us, and keep us informed, which he failed to do. When we finally got the pizza, the bottom of the crust was torched, I mean really burnt. And after all that, they still added a 20% gratuity to our check. The server's name was Tim and we sat at table 28. The manager never came back to check on us either. This joint is unrecommended. I used to be a regular, but never again!

Great pizza!!!! We had a pepperoni, mexican, and a meatlovers. I cannot say enough great things about the pizza. Don't know what was wrong with the other reviewers....we had excellent food!

So I go to this place and order Chicken Marsala to go. I wait 20 mins. Take my food back home and open it. Its spaghetti and meatballs. How hard is it to bring the correct order to me, I am about 6 feet from the kitchen, sitting at their counter lol........... So I call them up and told them of the problem. No apology was offered and I was asked to bring the incorrect order back. I drive all the way back to this place and walk in. No on offers me an apology, and they give me my food that has now been sitting there for about 30 mins. The food was cold and it tasted terrible. I got hard ziti next to 2 tiny pieces of chicken and some stale breadsticks. And only 13.50 too lol. It is not a real good Italian food, and they should NEVER use the NYC to describe their pizza. Not authentic Italian food at all. Stay away from this place.

i ordered three expensive pizzas my order was messed up and the waitress who was the owners daughter was argumentative and the owner was as well my complaint was handled by charging me full price and being told the were the best pizza on the island so they didn't have to please customers i will never go back there are other pizza places every bit as good as nycitypizza i don't reccomend it to anyone i am local and do repeat business with vendors who provide courteous service and appreciate my business.

My husband & I ordered a large Stromboli with mushrooms, green peppers, onions, & spinich. After taking a bite of it, we noticed that it was cold inside. We sent it back to be put back in the oven. When they brought it back to our table, we took another bite out of it, but it was still cold inside. We told, who we assumed to be the manager/owner, about the cold Stromboli. He said that they were having trouble with the thermostat, but never offered to remedy the situation. After giving us a bill for the entire amount, we regrettably paid it, and left hungry.

never got to try pizza. waiter told us they could not take orders for marguerita pizza. kitchen was out of certain ingrediants. could not take an order for a pizza with cheese only on one half. said pizza would burn. asked the waiter to check with the kitchen. he never came back to our table to let us know. we left without eating. too many good pizza places that are more accomodating. New York Pizza is off my list.
