Captain Woody's is the perfect spot for a meal after day fishing at the Palmetto Bay Marina. Many locals find this bar and grill to be a great hangout to exchange fishing stories over oysters and beer. Their menu serves anything seafood-shrimp, clam chowder, oysters, crabs, and much more. Captain Woody's is a relaxed, informal establishment where people are friendly, and often loud after a couple of beers, and the food and service are great. Although it's a boisterous fisherman's place, it's a family-friendly place too. Captain Woody's also has a catering service.
Absolutely horrible. Went for a snack with a wine and got a horrible appetizer. Did complain to the bartender who said I had to pay for it anyway. Yuks. Won't recommend that place. Bad attitude and food. Just a bar. Found the person next to me eating oysters that were way overprized. Reilley's happy hour has a much better deal.
My Bloody Mary was great! But then things went down hill from there. Waitress not on the ball more focused on people that were walking by than on us. Food was not what I expected locals spoke highly of this place and it was low grade dog food.Captain you have a sinking ship...
I have been going to Hilton Head for 18 years and at least 4 times each year. My must have is a Captian Woody's oyster po-boy . They have one of the best. Their shimp nochos are great also. Other people I drag there say the rest of the food is really good, but I am loyal to the po-boy.
We eat at Capt. Woody's for lunch at least twice a week. I have yet to have a meal I didn't love. If you can't decide what you want, try the special of the day, you won't be disappointed. The prices are reasonable and server greets us with our drinks (and I'm not even a local yet!)
