Hilton Head Diner Restaurant, Hilton Head Island

Don't expect too much with this place. It has all your typical diner food, good prices, big portions. The food is just average though, not spectacular. I've been here about 4 times. A waiter/waitress will come to your table within seconds of you sitting down. The food comes fast too.

This is the worst breakfast we had while visiting HHI. We will not visit it again and would not recommend to others. Our food was not cold or anything, but it just seemed to be hurried.

This place is awful! The waitress was the worst. She took our drink orders and we told her that we were ready to order but she would take out meal order. She came back with the wrong drinks put them down and proceeded to another table. The drinks were wrong and we told her and she responded it's just a drink not your order and continue waiting on her new customers which she took their drink and meal orders at the same time. She walked passed us and got their drinks and sent a bus person over with our drinks which were still wrong and we asked him where the waitress was and he just shrugged his shoulders.. I was completely disgusted at the service at that point that we just left.

When we ate there the food was not good and the service was poor. One time when we asked where our server was, we were told he was outside having a cigarette! A nearby table found a dead cockroach in the food, and the manager did nothing except say she had never had that happen before.

Has it all, good food, healthy portions, waiters with accents and open all night! Definitely the place to go for the most diverse menu on the island!!

We are local and on the weekends when we stay out late and looking for a bite to eat we always visit the diner. The service and food are always excellent. They also serve alcohol which isn't typical of diners but a nice perk.
