My family has known this family for many years. And we can walk in and they know exactly what our favorites are ,good clean family atmosphere. My son and I always get the chicken fingers plate , love it ,and hope Little Pigs are there a long time ......

When my friends in Los Angeles hear I am going home to Anderson for a visit, they start lining up to place their orders from Little Pigs. As a medallion flyer on Delta, I can check two bags for free. So I always bring an extra empty suitcase and take it back to LA packed with 50 lbs of velcro refrigerated picnic bags full of barbecue, beans, and slaw. Plus a few muscadines if it's September - October. Now would I do all this if the food was not absolute great?
I LOVE LITTLE PIGS BBQ THEY ARE GREAT AND IS THE TAST OF THE SOUTH LITTE PIGS HAVE TRUE SOUTHERN BBQ AND ALL THE FIXENS ARE JUST AS GREAT AND AS FOR ALL THE OTHER COMMENTS IF YOU DID NOT LIKE IT THEN YOU MAY NEED TO CHECK IN TO THE HOSPITAL. THIS BBQ IS THE BEST AND MY WHOLE FAMILY LOVE IT AND LET ME TELL YOU THATS A LOT OF FOLKS !!! LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS BBQ..
I like the food at Little Pigs, but I must say I have to agree with the other poster about the cleanliness. I have also seen them handle money and then BBQ.We actually left one time we were in line because one of the workers was wiping her forehead and pushing her hair back with her hands, then walked over and picked up french fries to put on a plate. No thank you, I just can't handle that. So for that reason, we don't go there any longer.
Opened in 1965 and not renovated since, Little Pigs BBQ is one of the worst BBQ experiences we've ever had. The service was very slow and cumbersome and all of the servers went from touching money to touching the food and back to touching the money again without washing their hands or wearing gloves. Once you finally receive your food you are startled by tremendous size of the portions. We soon realized when we actually dug into that mountain of food that the quantity is to make up for the lack of flavor. The sauce is a slightly sweet, mildly vinegary, non savory concoction that is not potent in any way. Which is real shame because if tops pork that is obviously cooked without any seasoning. The beans are directly from a can and mixed in with some of the flavorless pork. The coleslaw was not properly aged and came as a mound of unmarinated cabbage with the dressing heaped on top. Prices were fairly reasonable for amount of food that you get. A BBQ plate and two side equaling $7.50 and BBQ sandwich plate at $6.50. In place of a soda fountain they have vending machines. The weak taste of the food may explain why this place seems to be inhabited mostly by the elderly. The rest of the patrons were obviously locals who either had no other local BBQ choices or had been coming to this place for so long that they don't know what good BBQ is. Unfortunately, having eaten at many BBQ places all over the country, we rank this place near the worst we've ever visited.
We love Little Pigs. This is the best barbecue in town. We have tried all the newcomers and they dont hold a candle to Little Pigs. You get tons of food for a reasonable price and It TASTE great !This one will continue to be our choice!!!
