tasteless and expensive I had eaten here once before about a year ago, it was ok,,not impressed so I thought I would give it another try. I ordered take out, seafood wor bar (shrimp,scallop,lobster with some veg in white sauce). Eggroll did not come with the meal, so that was extra. It was just a normal size portion of food. Cost over $17.00.

This is the best chinese food in the upstate without going to Greenville (although I haven't sampled Chinese when in Greenville so who knows it could be as good or better). I have Chinese friends and also lived in Atlanta so have sampled some authentic Chinese. As noted Grand China has authentic and Americanized food. Ingredients taste fresh, well prepared, and owners/staff very pleasan. We just wish it were closed to Seneca so we could eat there more often.

If you want chinese food in the Anderson area, this is the place to go! With the most authentic dishes around town, Grand China is a well respected and established chinese restaurant in the community. Although they have many authentic dishes, they also have the more traditional American-Chinese for those who aren't used to authentic chinese food. The prices might be more expensive than other Chinese restaurants around (especially the buffet stuff...ugh nasty) but if you compare the dishes, Grand China's portions are bigger and also the quality of the food is far superior. When it comes to service, no where comes close. William is there just about everyday to make sure everything runs smoothly as well as making sure the food is consistent everyday. If you want your dish a certain way and it is in his power to do so, it will happen...all you have to do is ask. Grand China is also a great destination for having a dinner party since they have a big party room in the back which is isolated from the rest of the dining room. It is a must try in Anderson! A.L.

Very nice owner and staff. Happy Family and Won Ton soup for two are very good and are among my favorites. Like their spring rolls. Gracious service. William values his customers and is most anxious to please them. If you have any questions or preferences, feel free to mention them when ordering. William will see that you are pleased. My choice of the Chinese restaurants in the area. Visiting friends and family who have eaten there before always request dining there when they are in town.

Best Chinese Food I've ever eaten! The portions are huge and the wait staff was so nice. My favorite dish is the Happy Family. My husband and I shared this dish and we still had food to take home!

My family and I have eaten at Grand China Many times. The food is aways very good and the service is excellent. We go there frequently and always enjoy our meal.

My wife and I had the Pecan chicken, Mongolian Beef, Fried Rice, Hot & Sour Soup, and eggs rolls. Overall very disappointed with flavor. Scarce egg specs in fried rice, soup more sweet than hot or sour. Both entrees and egg rolls bland and boring. We are both big fans of good chinese foods. This wasn't.

Is your typical chinese non-buffet restaurant. We found a menu item that we like very much and will order every time we go. It is called Pecan Chicken. Very good.

You can order off the menu, and the wait staff is very friendly. They have good daily lunch specials but the dinner prices are a bit higher. All in all, I think this is a good place to go every once in a while.
