Carolina Roadhouse

Excellent food, good service and reasonable prices. Worth the wait.

My brother lives at Mrytle Beach and he recommended Carolina Roadhouse years ago to us. He said all the locals go there, so it had to be good! We always go to eat there everytime we are at the beach and the food is always great. Their house salad with hot bacon & honey? dressing (i think that's what it is!) is great! I could just make a meal off of it alone! If you are at Mrytle Beach, you have to go there if you want a great meal!

This was my first time dining at Carolina Roadhouse. I went with three friends, all previous customer who raved about it. Frankly, I was pretty disappointed. They have a well laid out facility and the decor is great. My compliments pretty much end there. My salad (that costs extra with a $13 plate)came complete with wilted and brown lettuce. I ate about half of it. The main dish was advertised as a blackened chicken breast topped with special sauce, accompanied with garlic fries. I believe the chicken was oven roasted, the special sauce tasted like Campbells chicken soup and the fries were fresh out of the bag with a little garlic salt sprinkled on them. The staff would easily adapt at most fast food restaurants. There are many fine eating establishments at Myrtle Beach. I would choose one of the others.

I go to Carolina Roadhouse every time I make my way to Myrtle Beach (which is several times per year). In fact, I try to take my entire sales force there once a year. The service is always superb, especially with our larger groups, and the food is excellent. Overall, this restaurant is an excellent value for the money you spend.

We are from NY and go to Carolina Roadhouse when we get to SC without fail!.. The salads as wonderful and the croissants too, I have had the steaks and the ribs they are both very good. I never have room for the desserts, but bet they are great too. I have only good things to say about the restaurant, hope they never close. We heard that Goodys the store they we also love at MB went under, so sad.

Our family and friends LOVE Carolina Roadhouse. A large group of us go to Myrtle Beach twice a year for a week and usually eat there twice each visit. The ribs are excellent...And for lunch we must have Chef Salads (the best) and the hand cut french fries are great....As a matter of fact I have not been there since September and I am craving one of their Chef Salads. The prices are very affordable. The only complaint I have is that our group is always to large to seat together....but everything else is great so that is no problem.

We LOVE Carolina Roadhouse and sometimes go twice on a week trip!! It is best to call for reservations--and they are usually very prompt. Service is great and we have had steaks, seafood and ribs--YUMMMM!! Everything is open, but still a very good atmosphere. A MUST DO for a trip to Myrtle Beach!!

Tonight was my first visit to the Carolina Roadhouse and I was very disappointed. First of all, the waitress tried to rush us out by bringing our dinners to the table when we had barely begun to eat our salads. I asked for another roll (croissant) and was informed that there was a charge of 97cents for each extra one. After ordering an $18.95 meal, I was almost speechless, but managed to say, "never mind." I have NEVER been in a restaurant that served you one roll and then had the nerve to charge for another one. The babyback ribs were just average - not spectacular, with very little meat on them. I would not go back to this restaurant, nor would I recommned it to anyone.

The Carolina Roadhouse is the best. When we arrived we thought we would have to wait an hour for a table. The bar and waiting area were packed with people waiting for tables. The front of the house staff quickly got through the line of people and we got our table with in 25 minutes. Our server was quick with food and drinks (it took her all of two minutes to get my drink from the bar. The food was fantastic. The steak was cooked perfectly and the mask potatoes were creamy and whipped to perfection. Everyone should try Carolina Roadhouse.

Very disappointed with the steak I got. It was so dry that I had to ask for Heinz 57 to use just to make it bearable.
