Carolina Roadhouse, Myrtle Beach

ARE YOU KIDDING ME ? THEY SERVE THE BEST PRIME RIB AND FILET WE HAVE EVER HAD. HOWEVER, WE WERE THERE IN OCTOBER WHEN THE SUN SETS EARLY. WE FOUND IT SO DIMLY LIT THAT WE COULD NOT READ THE MENU VERY WELL. WE NOTICED A GROUP NEXT TO US TRYING TO READ THE MENU WITH THE LIGHTS FROM THEIR CELL PHONES. SOME PEOPLE WE TAKING THE CANDLE FROM THE TABLE TO READ IT. WE ACTUALLY GOT A DESSERT WE REALLY DIDN'T CARE FOR BEACUSE WE COULD NOT SEE THE MENU WELL. ATMOSPHERE NO... AGGREVATION YES.

This is my new favorite restaurant while in Myrtle Beach. We ate there last night and it was a wonderful experience. Their fresh-baked coissants and house salad with homemade hot bacon dressing are INCREDIBLE! We had the filet mignon and prime rib - both were excellent. Our waiter, Daniel, also was a pleasure. We'll see you again, for sure!

The service was great, but the food was about average. We might think about going back some time.

Carolina Roadhouse is my favorite place in Myrtle Beach. I am not a seafood person, but only like some fish items. I have had the best prime rib, salads and rolls EVER at Carolina Roadhouse. Service has always been great!! My ONLY beef is that the tip is added to the bill. I am an over tipper anyway, but really resent being MADE to pay it. I have never had a problem with bad service here but if I did there would be a real problem with "having" to pay it with my bill. My last bill here when I took my family was over 350.00!! So of course the tip was high. Our server was friendly and fast and the food was exceptional, but I don't feel it should be my responsibility to make up the wages that the employer is not paying to get a server's wages to the minimum and above by making us pay 18%!!

Excellent food, excellent service - WORTH YOUR MONEY! GO THERE! (They make a killer strawberry daquari.)

I now live in Myrtle Beach and Carolina Roadhouse is the best! always hot,always fresh and always friendly people..my name is Kiyotee and I love that resturanta and food from Carolina Roadhouse!! My favorite is the house salad fit for a Queen...and thats just what I am.lol. keep it up!!

Went there on vacation recently. We found a eaten crab claw in my shrimp poboy. The waiter was very apologetic but the manager handled the situation very poorly. She was a bit rude and tried to make us think that we imagined the EATEN crab claw in our food. Will never visit again.

Excellent food, good service and reasonable prices. Worth the wait.

My brother lives at Mrytle Beach and he recommended Carolina Roadhouse years ago to us. He said all the locals go there, so it had to be good! We always go to eat there everytime we are at the beach and the food is always great. Their house salad with hot bacon & honey? dressing (i think that's what it is!) is great! I could just make a meal off of it alone! If you are at Mrytle Beach, you have to go there if you want a great meal!
