Bennett's Calabash Seafood Buffet #3, Myrtle Beach

we came there with our friend, food was good, server was very nice, but when we were ready to pay we gave a server 2 of 10$ coupons. she said she can t take them because we should presented them prior to seating. Well, there is no such information on the coupon. So we basically lost 20$. Not going back!!!! Rip off

Visited 01/09/12 - because it's the off season we didn't have to wait for table. I found the selection on the buffet to be extensive, however everything tasted the same; greasy and heavy. The crawfish were mealy tasting. We witnessed a child unaccompanied at the dessert bar licking the ice-cream scoop; that pretty much did it for me.

I ate at bennett's few years ago and liked it. went there couple weeks ago and found excellent food and atmosphere again. Excellent!!!

This place SUCKS!! It is the worst buffet I have ever been, and very chaotic. You have to wait in line forever to go through the buffet line. The food isn't very good for the price you pay. Its robbery!! The crabs taste like they were cooked in toilet water. The servers werent horrible but we waited over 15ministes for our drinks and then waited even longer for our plates. I would NEVER recommend this place to anyone and I will definitely NEVER go back. Go to Golden corral if you want a buffet

We visited Bennetts last night, 7/11/11 and it is way overpriced for what you get. It's around $28 per plate. They don't bring your buffet plates out right away because they want you to fill up on the salad bar. The prime rib and other steak was tuff and tasted awful. Many of the normal items looked like they had been sitting out for a long time (Mac and cheese, broccoli and cheese, etc,). Had to ask for melted butter and small forks for the crab legs. The restrooms were nasty. We were very disappointed with this place... For the price, we expected much more!

Went here on 6/13/11 . Service was marginal. so was the food. I had to ask for everything,extra plates,napkins,melted butter. I been to better buffets.

Food was just ok..Not much selection..food was not fresh...crablegs salty..The price was highway robbery...Original Benjamin's is waaaaaay better for about the same price. Only reason we went here was because Benjamin's was closed for renovations....I've been to chinese buffets that were better..NEVER AGAIN!

The Calabash on 29th is better. The food and service is great when you go early. I remember going once late in the evening and I was totally shocked that the cleaning crew started mopping right near where we sat. Then we felt rushed because our waiter/waitress kept coming around. Not good mgmt. The price is a bit high but overall not bad.

The food at Bennett's Calabash was very poor, food was warm and the price was ridiculous. The waitress told us that the buffet was 20 dollars and when we got our checks the price was like $28. My family and myself will not ever visit a calabash again. Thanks for nothing.
