Hard Rock Cafe, Myrtle Beach

wow stay away. this one is not staffed properly and is short of workers. they don't pay attention to you. I have been to many of them and would not go back to this when again. Planet Hollywood is across the street I have been there once and enjoyed it.

The menu at the HR is not at all impressive and the food is even worse. The hamburgers are dry and tasteless, the chicken strips were small and over cooked, and the ribs were not very tender. I did have a good beer but it is hard to mess that one up. Go here if you like pyramids, HR gifts from the gift shop, and loud rock music; don't go here is you want to have a good meal.

Really cool atmosphere and really expensive food for what you get.

Be sure to go online to th eHard Rock website to reserve a timeslot BEFORE you visit. We reserved a 6pm slot and got there at 5:50pm. There were many people waiting already and the hostess was taking names and advising people it was a 45 minute wait. When we reached her, we told her of our 6 o'clock reservation. We were taken immediately inside and seated on the stage. We ordered and ate in about an hour. I recommend the grilled chicken breast on three-cheese macaroni with garlic bread, it's the bomb! Just before we paid our bill we noticed the woman who had been in front of us in line was just getting seated. The waiter we had was attentive and professional. The atmosphere is great. (We sat beneath the drum kit belonging to the drummer from Anthrax), and the food was superb! So, make sure you reserve, then enjoy!

High priced mediocre food with a lot of noise. If you want to wait in a long line to get in, then perhaps spend over an hour to order and get served, than this is the place for you.

My family visited Hard Rock Cafe last summer (2005). The hosts and servers were all very courteous. We waited well over an hour to get a table. We knew that there would be a long wait, so we went early. However, our food took nearly an hour (3 hamburgers w/fries and a kid's pizza). We did not expect that! The server explained that the kitchen was having problems. This seemed to be the case, because no one else was getting their food quickly, either. When our food finally arrived, the hamburgers were incredibly dry and had almost no flavor. The meal was quite expensive for the quality, and a soda was more than $2.00. As we left, ropes were set up to force us to leave through the merchandise store.

I realy like anything over at Broadway. It is a fun place to entertain yourself at.
