We went against some of the reviews and came in at 10:30am on a Saturday to find we went to the wrong place. The service was ok but a far cry from what you expect. It took 30 min for our food to come out and it was COLD!!!!! Everything from the eggs (they look and taste like powdered egg mix) to the toast (butter didn t melt since it was ice cold and soggy) tasted like product waste from a Waffle House! There were even things floating in our drinks! When I approached the manager on duty (wouldn t give her name but was blonde and older) she got defensive and proceeded to come over to our table and get an attitude with us. I don t know what rock she crawled out from but she needs to go back!!! We will never return to this toilet of a restaurant and we will also make sure we tell everyone we talk to it s best to avoid as well!
Great place and great value. I visited here about two weeks ago, and I had such a good overall positive experience from this visit that I felt inclined to write a review.
The food was great and the prices were very competitive. When I went there there was some line, so it took some time to actually sit down, but after that it was all a good experience.
We ate at the Spring House last night, and my pot roast, rice and gravy and black eye peas were great -- it's homecooking in the South! The waitress was very attentive, but busy, busy and efficient! My husband had the Country Fried Steak and nothing left on the plate -- he liked his meal, also. We'll go back.
Wow after reading some of these reviews I was a bit reluctant to go for breakfast, but I'm glad I didn't let the reviews sway my thinking. The food was wonderful, and we had the most adorable waitress. We will go back and recommend it to all our friends..
A bird was flying around and our waitress, although very nice, did not know the menu very well. The bacon was not crisp. Glad I had a $5.00 coupon but would have preferred to spend more and get better quality food. My family is sold on Plantation Pancake House.
Apparently my last post was deleted, so Ill say it again, the owners dont care about their employees or customers, dont eat here if you value your wellbeing, I have seen things that could shut this place down in a second!~
Unhappy Prices: Better watch your pocket. Our food added up to $42.00, but when they brought our bill to us, it was $53.00. I didn't pay it a lot of attention, until we were on the way home and I looked at bill and noticed how much they added to it. They must of added gratuity to it. I was paying for 3 people. The waitres was an older lady, who was rude and unprofessional. We left her
$5.oo and she was'nt even worth that. I believe if a waitress is profience in her job that she is worth gratuity, but this lady was not, and I feel that they should tell you before they add gratuity on. So my advice is that you better check your ticket before you leave.
the owner of this resterant is the City manager for Myrtle beach.. I hope he loses his business for goin along with his cronies in the city. No Dime in 09. $400 million in lost revenue. I would never give this any business at any of their locations
