I had the oyster poor boy and my wife had the ribeye sandwitch both were great and came with homemade fries. We also had the 35 cent wings. Ice cold beer and great service.
I don't know what happened when the other people on here ate there, but we will go again.
We stopped to enjoy oysters in MB after hearing some good things about Dirty Don's Oyster. Unfortunately, we were unpleasantly surprised to find the oysters were in fact...Dirty. There was mud and shell parts in the raw oysters that we ordered. Additionally, our friend did not finish his steamed oysters because they were too hard to open and again...they were so dirty the sediment fell into the oysters he could open. So much in fact that we did not finish the 2 dozen oysters that we initially ordered. We would not recommend Dirty Don's as a great place for oysters. I would like to end on a positive note and let you know the beer was cold!!
GREAT PLACE! We had a really over-priced, not so great dinner the night before. So, we were really happy to find Dirty Don's. We went for the happy hour time (4-7pm), and had a pitcher of margaritas, wings, and shrimp, and EVERYTHING was great! The people were friendly, and the atmosphere was very low key and laidback. The service was great too. It was a great experience, and we will be back on our next trip to Myrtle :)
Dirty Dons has THE BEST CRAB CAKES in M.B. And Nate will give you the best service in M.B. The homemade potato salad is also very good. You don't know what you're missing if you haven't beeb to THA DIRTY's.
Went to Dirty Don's on 2/24/2007 on a golf trip with my Dad and brother. I had a philly steak sub. It had peppers, onions and mushrooms and was very good. My side item was potato salad which was homemade and very good. My brother tried a burger (very good). My Dad had some steamed oysters and oysters salsa (salsa and cheese baked on top). He liked both, but said the oysters salsa was the best. Remember this is a bar, and there were a couple of guys that had one to many beers at the bar, and they were a little loud. But they had some outdoor seating that you could try to take care of that problem. Bottom line: Dirty Don's has good food, you should try it!
