Planet Hollywood, Myrtle Beach

My New York Strip was terrible--I couldn't hardly cut it. Very small portion of vegetables. Cost extra for a small salad. No french dressing for salad. Average service--nothing special. My bill with tip for two adults and four teenagers was about $160.00. Way too expensive for what we got. The large TV screens had stupid Hip Hop crap, which was annoying and distracting. You would think that they would show cool clips from famous movies.

my stomach turns thinking of this place. two word to describe the food nasty and over priced. spent 60 dollars on crap. the atmosphere was good but i wouldn't go back there.

I went to planet Hollywood with my family. I have 5 kids; they are all young 3 of them are toddlers. The lady was nice that served us (so I tipped her). However, the food was overpriced, limited and didn't taste great. Burger king was better. I was thinking O well I expected to pay a little more since I was at Myrtle beach and just figured I would never come back. When the bill came they charged us 20.00 just for having over 6 people. This made me mad because 5 out of 7 were my kids. When I go places I pick up whatever mess my kids make and I stack the plates and whatever else to make it easier on the waiter. I didn't expect to be charged 20.00 just for bringing my kids. I went to the manager, complained and he took the charge off. They also said in the beginning we would get a 10% military discount. We got one but it wasn't even 10%. My total bill without the 20.00 was over 120.00 (though 3 of them were kid's meals). I will never go back and I didn't see anything about being charged 20.00 extra for having over 6 people anywhere; if I did I would have walked out and not ate there at all. If I pay the high price I want high quality and they could not beat burger king. What a waste of money.

Visited June 16th. Not much to talk about. Prices were to high for the quality of food. I had a server named Sarah and she was awful. It appeared that she did not want to be there. After I good my order she never came back to check on me but, checked on the very next table several times, I guess because there was more in their party. Bigger tip I guess. I do not leave tips when I get service like that. I thought I could find a place on the net to report this but have not found it yet. Any help would be appreciated.

I couldn't help but feel like we were really paying for the memorabilia in the restaurant and that the food was just a distant afterthought. This was more like a museum visit (the memorabilia was very neat!), but the food was just like the food you'd get at a museum -- very forgettable and expensive.

This place may look nice but it's a restaurant so you do plan to eat there. The food was way over priced. I've had better meals at fast food restaurants but I do eat out regularly at nice places. The staff was totally lost and could care less that you needed anything. It took forever just to get a salad and they even messed that up because it tasted horrible. I will never go again and recommend no one else. They should seriously shut it down or get Chef Gordon Ramsey to clean up the kitchen staff and food!

We were given comps to cover our meal and stuff from the retail shop, so we went! When we went in, there was not one staff member in sight, we had no idea if we were supposed to seat ourselves or what. Eventually seated, our server brought us menus about 10 minutes afterward. We had gotten our own drinks at the bar, so at least we werent just sitting there! I ordered their equivalent to chicken alfredo, but instead of garlic - they used green peppers - WEIRD. The person I was with ordered a huge steak which was cooked to order, but loaded down with salt for some reason! When it came time to ask for the check and 'to go' boxes, our waiter must have had to go to the home office. He was gone for about 20 minutes. We waited and waited. I finally left to go to the restroom and when I returned the waiter still had not returned. My friend got up and had to walk away. The waiter was not even apologetic about taking so much time when I questioned him, he simply ran away. The ambiance is pretty much what you would expect, cars and boats hanging from the ceiling, several large televisions playing music videos and movie previews, paraphrenalia on the walls, etc... This is a great place for a family outing or maybe young adults. This is not a place to go if you want conversation or exceptional food.

the waiter was not clear on cupons.. the food was not all that good... there were a lot of empty talbles but the wait was 45 mins. the service was bad.. gave us an empty catup bottle than took forever to get us one that had some in it...

theme restaurants are dead for a reason STAY AWAY!!! so as I'M asked to write I would suggest giving some taste to the food and have your servers be more personable and friendly ,just to start
