I went to visit the Captain on 12/04/2010 approximately 6 pm. It was a great meal. The crab legs were done to perfection and plentifull, so sweet that butter was better left aside, the stuffed mushrooms, Oysters Rockafellas, crag cakes, She crab soup, scallops, clams etc. were superb. Great dessert bar and excellent service. I read some of the bad reviews about Capt. George's and wonder how a folk could gripe. I suppose if you went 5 minutes before closing there might not be as much fresh and plentiful food but I also know theres just people born to gripe. Also who goes to a seafood buffet expecting great prime rib. It's a SEAFOOD BUFFET DUH !!!! wake up and join the real world. I enjoy good food and I enjoy good friendly service. Believe me, both can be had at the captain. As far as the price? If you go on vacation and worry about every penny you spend? well I say stay home and worry. Your vacation is ruined anyway. Or do like me and take your favorite hard working Nephew along and let him pick up the tab. :)
