Mammy's is definately one of my favorite restuarants in Myrtle Beach and have been going there for years. It offers great home cooking and a great price. The breakfast & dinner buffets are a great value and both offer large selections and are always hot and fresh. The service is fast and friendly and very much a family atmosphere. I would strongly recommend and always look forward to stopping in at Mammy's when visiting Myrtle Beach.

Mammy's kitchen is a wonderful country buffet. I come all the way from Fayetteville, NC just so I can eat at mammy's. I talk about this resturant about every day. I am looking forward to eating at mammy's in July of 2009. Mammy's Rock! Grade A

Mammy's is great! My family and I have eaten there many times during our vacations and have never been disappointed. It is a smaller restaurant and it has been there forever, but it is well worth the price! Much better than those huge buffets you see all over. I've never had cold food or seen flies on the buffet as stated in previous reviews. The pot roast on the dinner buffet is the best I've ever eaten. Most of the times we've eaten there, one of the owners is there seating customers and/or waiting tables and the waitress who usually helps us has been there for 16 years. We've never experienced anything but great customer service and great food at Mammy's. We always recommend it to anyone going to Myrtle Beach.

I ate here for breakfast one morning during my vacation and their morning buffet is great! It's good quality, good selection, and well priced ($7). I'd eat here again.

Just got back from eating dinner at Mammy's Kitchen (better known for their breakfast buffet). We had the dinner buffet without the Crab legs and it was excellent. Not the largest buffet in town but a very nice assortment for every taste. Their corn nuggets and sweet potato nuggets were pleasent surprises and the salad bar was fresh and nicely stocked. They serve freshly brewed Luzianne sweet tea (my personal favorite). The service was also excellent. If you are looking for a high class fancy restaurant this probaly would not be it. However if you want good food, good service, and a freindly atmosphere I would high recommend it. Overall a very good experience.

On our last day we stumbed acrossed this restaurant before we departed home. Service was wonderful and waitress was really attentive. Normally I avoid buffet food, but because we were in a hurry I gave in. Although I was pleasantly surprised to find biscuits, gravy, pancakes, eggs, corn beef hash, potatos and more. My son LOVED the fruit, the strawberries were perfectly riped and huge. Breakfast is 6.99 a person and 3.99 for children 9 and under. However I didn't have a big appetite and found it would of been cheaper for me to have avoid the buffet instead. We are planning for our second trip back to Myrtle Beach and do plan on coming back to Mammy's Kitchen.

Me and my family were out looking for a place to eat one morning after picking up seashells on the beach. We found Mammy's Kitchen. My husband is very reluctant about eating at unfamiliar places. He was wondering if he could find a place that served good biscuits and gravy. Well we found it and more. We loved it. They had everything you could want on the bar. All kinds of fruit, meat, pancakes, pastries, and biscuits and gravy. The breakfast bar was $6.50 all you can eat. The drinks were a little pricy. A large O.J. was $2.25 and you had to pay that again for a refill. It was worth the money. They had very good strawberries and they were big. Watermelon, cantelope, honeydew, mixed fruit, peaches. It was very good. I would recommend this place to anyone. It was clean and we had very good service.
