Wow! Were we ever surprised when we entered the restaurant. It is like walking down Rainbown Row in Charleston...the interior design was delightful! The food selections were interesting and the waitstaff was very friendly and attentive. We have recommended Redbone to a numer of friends and look forward to going again. Be sure to make this your next dinner out.

I would not pay attention to the reviews giving this restaurant any rating less than 4. I've lived in Florence my entire life, and Redbone is a major part of the town. It's great for lunch or dinner, and terrific for family get-togethers. My only advice is for you to call and make a reservation. That's the only way you won't be stuck waiting for over 20 minutes. They do get busy fairly quickly. I would suggest any of their salads, their bread is amazing, and their desserts are excellent. I'm not a grits person, but their shrimp and grits are famous throughout the East coast.

I have eaten at Redbone Alley on serveral times and have found it to be great with the exceptions of once last year and last night. The salad as usual was great. However the food, that was a different subject all together. I don't understand how is it that one gets spoiled and use to a menu and the same cook and then boom! There is a major change just like that, no warning whatsoever. The waiter was subperb. The kitchen last night was off. When you mess up a chicken sandwich, then something as simple as chicken fingers, you are way OFFFF. So be it, better luck next time.

Redbone Alley is a very good Restaurant. The food is quite good for the most part. The salads are awesome. I love just about everything on the menu. The shrimp and grits are good but I'd like them better without all that greasy ham. Last time I ate that dish I got a belly ache. It may have been all those onions?

Redbone Alley is very good and the atmosphere is pleasing. I really like most of their dishes but somebody needs to give them a real lowcountry shrimp and grits recipe. In authentic Lowcountry shrimp and grits the shrimp are BOILED NOT FRIED! (Fried = Grease City) Other than that I have no complaints. The service is awesome and the other food is delicious and not greasy at all.

I love the food and the side salads. The employees are nice and they do their best to help you have a good experience. Try the chicken tenders, chicken alfredo, and also try the honey mustard on your salad.
