Stefano's Pizza Restaurant, Florence

Ordered 2 Large Pizza's to go. They totally screwed up my order. When I called to complain, the owner told me that they were only human and were very busy. I've been a loyal customer for many years, but will never spend a dime here again. Stefano's must have changed owners because the quality of service and food has gone away.

To the person who gave it one star for bad service and horrible food, I've been to Stefano's at like 20-something time and always had fine service and excellent food.

Went there a few days ago around 2 pm with my spouse, walked in to seating ourselves which was fine but no one even acknowledges us. So we sat down. I look at the menu and wasn't impressed so I settled for spaghetti with meatballs. Meanwhile our bread came which was really good. So then my spouse leaves to go to the restroom and I nearly have a heart attack from a kid going under a table near me and star growling or some other odd noise at me while on the floor under the table. Finally he gets up and runs to the bar. Then a woman that doesn't seem all there is going in and out of the kitchen talking loudly saying where is the little boy like she wanted to play with him and stuff. She really didn't act like she could work there, so he;s running all around the place hiding from her. Also the tv at the bar was on cartoons really loudly I suppose for the boy. There also a man sitting at the bar talking real loudly and going in and out of the kitchen. So finally to the food: my salad came and I think a 3 yr old could have made a better one, it was plain lettuce with tons of mozzarella cheese and like two grape tomatoes very very plain and nasty . Then when I finally get my spaghetti it tasted like it came out of a can only two meat balls the noodles were watery it all around was disgusting. I will never ever eat there again.

simply excellent !!! i've known this restaurant since it started in the foolion plaza by the airport in one of the cubby hole strip mall slots.....didnt last long , but they relocated and they are top of the chain in florence as far as authentic Italian cuisine .

Love it! Best pizza I've had since I left Jersey 13 yrs ago! If there is one flaw, it is the crust...sadly, it reminds me of cardboard. They really should invest some time & thought into a new dough recipe. As to their other food...GREAT! My hubby LOVED the mussels he had there one night...it was a special...and they haven't had it since. Too bad. Let me add that the Italian Wedding Soup is the best I've ever had! The prices are fairly reasonable, except for the pizza. My small pizza with just 3 toppings was $14.50...a little pricey, but the toppings are great! The mozzerella is REAL...not the stuff you get at the chains. Great staff, too!

Could have been 5 stars because the food is absolutely excellent and the waiter was attentive, but coming to my table with a wad of tobacco in his mouth was uncalled for.

Food was delicious and the wait staff were wonderful. We all truly had a wonderful dining experience here. I was very surprised as the restaurant is in a strip mall and I wasn't expecting much. Two thumbs up!

Terrible bartender, Watered down or shorted. Either way the service is the worst. The kid behind the bar of this class eatery sports HICKIES on his neck while serving you. Just what I want to see when eating. The Food is two thumbs up but the bartender outweighs the good.

Stephano's has the best pizza I've ever eaten and the pasta is good too!

Stefano's Pizza is the best Italian Restaurant in Florence. The quality and service are unmatched and the food tastes delicious.
