bOn my recent visit to S.C. I had the opportunity to eat at Bazen. Upon the recommendation of my sister-in law, I sent some food to my girlfriend who recently lost here mother. She told me how delicious the food was. Because of a bad experience the night before, I did not want to try any place new, but by the time the morning came, I was saying to my girlfriend, let,s go there for breakfast. I am so glad I did. We did not make it in time for breakfast, but the lunch was awesome. It exceeded my expectation.
THE FOOD HERE IS PRETTY GOOD SERVICE IS OK,IT SEEMS LIKE WHEN YOU GO IN THE OWNERS WHO ARE THERE WILL TREAT ALL CUSTOMERS THE SAME THERE ARE SOME OF THE OWNERS WO THINK THEY ARE TO GOOD TO SPEAK TO YOU.THEY NEED TO REMEMBER IT IS US THE CUSTOMER THAT MAKE IT POSIBLE FOR THEM TO BE HERE..
As a transplanted Yankee, I can tell you this. If you start to eat here, you will fall in love with the South. The people, both the employees and patrons are fun to be around. You are treated with courtesy and respect. It is a warm friendly atmosphere. I like the buffet. It was the first time I had seen grits, greens, black eyed peas, corn bread, etc. on a buffet. That is what I call good home cookin. All my fellow Yankees, if you happen by Florence, stop by this restaurant for a good meal and hospitality. You'll love it.
This diner style restaurant is open late and is a popular place to enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner, and midnight snacks.
Try their meat and two veggies specials and their famous western omelet.
