This restaurant is definitely not closed (please remove this from your listing because it is wrong!). We had a terrific Sunday Brunch meal there on a very stormy Sunday, February 19, 2012. It was absolutely outstanding. The seating is somewhat limited so I would highly suggest reservations. The restaurant uses all of the available space to set up a full salad bar and dessert bar. They remove seating to create a buffet complete with a craving station and the restaurant s chef who will gladly tell you what HE has on the buffet that day. While the buffet begins at 11 am, it is a somewhat limited breakfast . There are scrambled eggs, grits, and a separate gravy. Go ready to eat and make sure you try a little of everything. You ll love it. We will go back.

This restaurant is not closed. I was there on October 25, 2011 and the food was very good. So stop by you won't be disappointed.

Staff were friendly and on point for service. Food was delish! Would definitely visit again in ever in the neighborhood. Ordered the smothered chicken with baked potato. Enjoyed peel n eat shrimp for an appetizer. Friends enjoyed their crab, scallops, and lobster bisque.

I have eaten the Sunday Lunch at about every restaurant in Georgetown and by far Lands End has the best. I always get the meat and three veggie but they offer a variety of specials to choose from. It is always fresh and hot when its served and very tasty. The biscuits are excellent. The mac and cheese and fried chicken is the best I've ever had. Not heavy like buffet food. It does not include my tea but I don't mind paying for tea in exchange for the BEAUTIFUL view. The restaurant is newly remodeled and very beautiful and CLEAN. Give it a try if you want good food and a relaxing dining experience. Great place for families after church or anytime! I have noticed some of these reviews were before the new owners took over in the Summer of 2010. Give it another try! It will be worth it!

We were there on a Tuesday and they were not busy at all, which was surprising due to the high quality of the food. We ate there for lunch. I had the Lobster Cocktail and She-crab soup, both were excellent, My wife enjoyed the shrimp salad. After cruising Front Street for an evening meal we decided to return to Land's End. Again not busy with excellent food. I had fried scallops and oysters while my wife had fried shrimp and oysters. The seafood was cooked perfectly and reasonably priced.

This newly refreshed restaurant is the best for reasonably priced and well prepared seafood! I live in Murrells Inlet, seafood capital of SC, but drive an extra 20 minutes to eat at Land's End. We dined on July 3rd and the food was great! I had the shrimp creole and my husband had the fried oysters. Mine was spiced perfectly and loaded with shrimp and my husband swears he ate the best oysters on the east coast! We eat out a lot and you can't beat the prices and the beautiful view of the Georgetown marina. Most importantly we love the Lite Portions available. We both are not huge eaters so we enjoy getting the smaller portions with the smaller price. All our food was hot, quality and service with a smile. We have already made this our local seafood restaurant of choice!

The new Lands End is fantastic. The food and service were excellent and I loved the water front view. Every table in the restaurant has a great view.

this is the worst restuartant I have ever eaten at. After being told it would take just 10 minutes to be seated we were finally seated after 1 1/2. We order our food and when it got to the table it was cold, greasey and just plain nasty. The shrimp and grits had 4 shrimp in the bowl and the cheese was so cold you could peel it off the top of the bowl. The fish plated (flounder) was fry really hard. after peeling of the skin the meat was a dark brown color and stank as if it was freezer burned. The sweet potatoe fries were cold and greasy. The price of this crap was $38.and change. The food made my wife sick (vomiting) and ruined my fathers day treat. I spent the rest of the day sick in the rest room as well. DONOT EAT AT THIS RESTURANT THERE ARE TO MANY GOOD PLACE AT THE BEACH TO EAT TO WASTE YOUR MONEY AT THIS DIVE.

The restaurant is under new ownership and management! It has been through an extensive renovation with new hardwood floors, fresh coats of paint, murals painted on the wall, etc. Have eaten there a few times and it is wonderful. I suggest giving it another shot if you have not tried it recently.

Decided to drive down to Lands End for the sunday buffet. Nice selection of food and deserts. Had a very nice server. However, the ONLY selection on the buffet that was hot were the grits. What a waste: if you like your food hot forget the buffet Gave it one star, should be a lower option
