The food is amazing it is safe for even the most picky eater, there is something for everyone. Most of the staff are warm and inviting, they really make you feel welcome. It was my husband and my fist time and we will be going back!
Would have to rate 4 on scale of 5 because of service. The wait for refills of drinks is terrible and that also goes for trying to pay. The food is very good and eat there a lot, but always get frustrated with the slow service. Not sure why they don't add at least one other person to help with tables.
Love this place. Great food great service. I would have given it 5 stars, but you can never find a hostess. A lot of times the wait staff, will seat you of ring you out, or track down the hostess. So you usually wait to be seated or wait to be pay. I have been in several times and encounter this either going in or going out... All things considered well worth this one star problem.
I've been here twice. The first time I though the food was boring and a little over-priced. I went back with a group of women recently, and thought the food was good. The waitress was nice to our party of 10, and the service was fair. Still looking for a really good Greek restaurant...
This place at first seemed quaint. This was our 1st time here and the abrupt waitress and low quality food was horrible. They also charged us 18% gratuity for our party of 5. Even though 3 of the people eating were under 10 years old. The meat tasted old as well as the Greek potatoes. the portions were small for the price. We spent almost 80$ for all of us and didn't have any alcoholic beverages.Remember 5 people in our party, a 10 year old, a 9 and an 8 year old and my wife and I. I put 2 stars but it should probably be only 1. I give it a 2 because the waitress commented on how good my children were. the baklava was dry and the chocolate cake tasted store bought and had a refrigerator taste. My drink was never filled again after the first one. I sat there all dinner with just ice in my glass. I do not recommend. Avoid it if you can. Maybe I'm used to the restaurants in Boston but I heard the Charleston area had great restaurants. I have yet to find one.
We keep going back here- it's great food, and good value for the money. It's medium priced. Greek without being overwhelmed with spices. Great salads with shrimp or chicken, gyros, spanikopita, etc., even cold sliced lamb. I usually choose one of their specials which changes ever few days. And where else in town can you find Spumoni ice cream??? Rice pudding?? And their secret recipe iced tea is wonderful. My only complaint is that it's not open 7 days a week.
Hands down the best Greek restaurant in the tri-county area, hidden in downtown Summerville, just far enough from the interstate that a tourist sighting is rare. Try the Cia plate, Royal Gyro, pita dip and definitely save room for dessert!
