Disappointing. I had eaten here several years ago and the food was satisfactory. I recently ordered take-out and the quality of the food has gone down hill. The Pad Thai had very little meat and was made with wide noodles and peanuts. Thats it, no vegetables or citrus. It was a Peanut Noodle dish.
My spouse ordered a Bamboo Chicken dish that was much the same. Little chicken and vegetables - all noodles and grease.
Both of us were disappointed and will never eat here again.
I brought my friend here to celebrate her bday and introduce her to Thai food and it was perfect! My mom is from Thailand and this food was just like I get from her house or the Buddhist temple she goes to!
We ordered mild Chicken Larb (a ground meat salad over rice) that was so good I couldn't stop eating it even after I was full! It has a lot of cilantro and red onion and comes with cabbage and cucumbers. We also had mild Chicken Pad Thai which was so delicious I didn't even mind the peanuts that I usually don't have on it. For appetizers we had pork spring rolls (they use the best wrapper - rice, not egg) and Chicken Dim Sum that came with a super yummy dipping sauce. For dessert we had sticky rice drizzled with coconut milk and the ripest mango pieces I have seen in a long time. All of that food came in big enough portions to share AND come away with leftovers and the final bill was about $40. The service was great and I will definitely be bringing my mom there when she visits!
Terrible Thai food, don't make the mistake. This place is way over priced and isn't even Thai food. It's a Chinese version of something remotely resembling Thai. Not sure why they don't just focus on making good Chinese food rather than lousy Thai. I tried the Pad Thai, the most popular Thai dish and usually the safest when trying a new place. When it came I realized most of the main ingredients were missing. No peanuts, no scallions, no egg, no bean sprouts, no lemon juice, no cilantro, no peanut sauce or flavor whatsoever. Basically it was egg noodles in a bad flavorless sauce. Mt. Pleasant needs a good Thai food restaurant!!!
Pricey curries, mediocre food. The service was ok, it took some time to get our food. The location was good, closer to Mt. Pleasant. The fried rice was more chinese than Thai. Curry was too sweet. I would not recommend this.
This is the best restaurant ever! I've never had Thai food like this before. I recommend this place for anyone. It has food that is delicious and not greasy or real fatty. This place has something for everyone and I'm not kidding. I love this restaurant
