Blossom, Charleston

I liked everything about it. I want to go back to it very soon. I loved the food. My wait was not long at all.

Blossom's is simply superb! Note that the bad review is from someone who can't spell! I had some sort of flank steak that was inexpensive and out of this world.

I have been taking visitors to Blossom for several years and never had a bad experience. However, in June, three of us had lunch there and the food was so dreadful that I simply chose not to eat it. Their crab melt on marbled rye may have been better if a ten-year old had made it. The marbled rye was just that - a piece of bread. The crabmeat was gray and stringy-- something out of an inexpensive can, and the layer of glutinous cheddar cheese looked like a glob of glue - in fact, I think that may be the definition of 'glutinous.' I guess every restaurant is entitle to one foul-up, but this was inexcusable. Sorry, Blossom - it was an unfortunate experience.

EVERYTHING WAS SIMPLY FANTASTIC -- THE FOOD, THE SERVICE, THE ATMOSPHERE, THE COSTS -- WE CAN'T WAIT TO COME BACK! WE HAVE ALREADY MADE PLANS FOR OUR NEXT REUNION THERE AND WILL CONTINUE TO REFER PEOPLE HERE.

We tried many restaurants in the Charleston area and were most delighted with Blossom. I had a fantastic porkchop with mashed sweet potatoes. Every bite was better that the one before. Ecstacy . I'd love to have the recipe for the pork. I live in Oregon so I won't be there very often and I'd love to have that exact meal again soon! We had very good service and the ambiance was good. The food was what sold the place and I will be recommending Blossom Cafe to anyone travel to S.C.

We had a truly excellent experience at Blossom in Charleston, South Carolina. The food was delicious (try the crab raviolis or BBQ snapper.) Our waiter was prompt, entertaining, and charming. The restaurant was lovely, elegant, yet had a high energy feeling to it due to the open kitchen and seating style of the restaurant. We will definitely be back- we highly reccommend it!!!

After visiting its sister restaurant, Magnolias, I did not thing that I could have a better dining experience...WRONG. Blossom's is a great restaurant. First the atmosphere, modern but natural. If there is one thing that I find restaurants hardly get right is the lighting in a place, this place has it perfect. The kitchen is open yet unintrusive, as a matter of fact it is an enhancement to the whole decor. Not all the tables have cloth in them, only the back section of the main dining, so if that is a must for you then ask when you reserve. The atmosphere is upscale without being stuffy. They have a great patio to eat outside, and the food just rocked. I had the best pork chop by which other pork chops will forever be judged. It was perfectly cooked, tender and as pink as a filet mignon. The service as usual in all good Charleston restaurants was very good. We left completly satisfied and sured that this is one of the 3 places that we'll take our out of state friends when they come to visit.
