Totally enjoyed our lunch - I am really picky, being a cook myself, I
was surprised at flavor combinations, which were delicious, and the
portions were large - big YES on this restaurant for breakfast or lunch.
Went there for breakfast. The table with paper table cloth should have been a clue. Service was lacklustre, coffee mediocre. Breakfast fries greasy. Bacon and eggs were okay but nothing special. Generally a real turn-off.
This is a great place for breakfast and lunch. Looks like nothing from the outside, but don't be fooled. They have great sandwiches and soup, all with a little flair so it's not the same old grilled cheese sandwich. It's not pompus, snobby or overdone like some of the other restaurants in Charleston.
