Open since 1991 across from the Charleston City Market, this two-story landmark offers Southern cuisine such as its famous steamed Crab House Crab Pot with a variety of local seafood, sausage, corn on the cob and new potatoes served with garlic scampi butter. Other menu items include She-Crab Soup, Crab Puppies and Crab Cakes. They also serve juicy Hamburgers, Spicy Chicken Wings and Fried Green Tomatoes, but the menu emphasis is on fresh seafood.
