I joined this forum just to write of my wretched experience today on January 14, 2012. The seafood menu was pathetic. They don't specify what fish is on the platters mostly. They just call it fish. Hushpuppies, which cost pennies to make, were only offered with a few meals. They should be free in a basket as soon as you sit at a table. Regardless, they weren't worth eating anyway. My wife's shrimp were medium 40 count at best. Imported I'm sure. Nothing in that restaurant is local. For these reasons, I ordered the 1/2 pound cheeseburger. A welfare ration of American cheese on an over sized Bubba Burger cooked on a dirty grill is all it was. I would have been better off eating fast food. It was so bad, I couldn't even finish it. To top that off, the fries were cold when they got to my table. The only thing this place has going for it, is the staff and the atmosphere. If you're wanting a real seafood experience, I would recommend Captain D's (yuck), before I recommended this place. - Clay from Charleston, South Carolina. Born and raised.
