Wasabi Japanese Restaurant, Spartanburg

First time there and will be back as often as I can. The best sushi I have ever eaten,from coast to coast and the chef (Katsu) was the best. I've been to a lot of sushi restaurants , don't waste your money at any other, eat at this sushi bar and you will never go anywhere else.Freshest and cleanest reataurant in Spartanburg. Go there and them a chance.My son and I enjoyed this place so much, it's our new place to call our new go to, to eat.

I have been eating @ Wasabi in Spartanburg for the past year and love it!! Awesome food!! I have yet to try anything on the menu that wasn't delicious!! Katsu, Jing, Peter and staff are great people and make the visit exciting and fun!! Must try!!

I found this place to be nice but overpriced for what you get. The rolls were pretty expensive yet small. They were fresh but perhaps I am jaded from living in California where sushi can be much cheaper and still very fresh and delicious. The martinis were tasty but also not worth the price. Don't get me wrong, the sushi is great and fresh but it still is overpriced.

I have been eating here for more than 6 years now. I LOVE this food. I eat here at least once a week with a friend. It has become a tradition of ours. Katsu & Jing are 2 of the friendliest people that I know, and even when they are busy with many customers, they still take the time to greet me & make my visit special. The wait staff & other employees have always given friendly customer service. I enjoy the authentic cuisine, the personable employees and owners, and the overall atmosphere that is provided to one who dines here. 5 stars all the way!!!!

My Wife and I enjoy our experiences at Wasabi and we will continue to come back. Katsu is a great chef and his sushi is always fresh. I would recommend this restaurant to sushi lovers.

I always enjoy Wasbis. The owners are great conversationalists and make you feel welcome. The sushi chef, Katsu, is passionate about sushi and has fresh fish flown in every day. He'll always engage you in a stimulating conversation while preparing your sushi plate in front of you. Katsu is very opinionated, but that's part of the restaurant's charm.

Horrible experience. Stay away from this location. It took 30 mins 2 get drink orders. Saki arrived 2 table cold. Took over an hour 2 receive suishi. After we ate, I asked 2 speak 2 manager about the service. She was absolutely no help. I asked her 2 get the owner and it took him over 20 mins to come to table. He offered us no appology, just excuses. He didn't offer any discount on the meal. We paid the full balance and refuse to return......Stay away!
