El Charro, Asheville

We have been going to El Charro for many years. There are a lot more choices in Mexican food in the area than when they first opened, but I think this is still one of the best. Their chile rellenos are the best I ve had, and my wife loves their chicken chimichangas. Try the carnitas, as well - you won t be disappointed. Another excellent choice a few miles south is Elena s, at the intersection of Hendersonville Rd and Airport Rd.

El Charro is the Best Mexican Restaurant in Western North Carolina and the service you receive is just as great as the food, If your not smiling when you go in for your meal you sure will be smiling by the time you leave. El Charro is NUMBER ONE

I VISIT El CHARRO ALMOST EVERY WEEK ON TUESDAYS WITH A FRIEND AND WE HAVE NEVER, EVER RECEIVED BAD SERVICE. THE WAITSTAFF IS ALWAYS FRIENDLY, COURTEOUS AND EFFICENT. ALTHOUGH WE SPEND, USUALLY LESS THAN $20 THE SERVIVE IS ABSOLUTELY GREAT. ALTHOUGH I JUST GRAB A COUPLE OF BUDWEISERS, MY FRIEND SAYS THE FOOD IS EXCELLENT. I SUGGEST THIS RESTAURANT TO ANYONE WHO LIKES GOOD FOOD AND FRIENDLY SERVICE AND THE PRICES ARE VERY GOOD ALSO. JULIAN (& my Lady friend.)
