If I could give this hotel a negative rating, I would. We had a horrible experience with them. I made a reservation a couple of months before for a King 2-room suite. When we arrived to check in we were charged for the suite but on entering the room, it was only a regular (in poor condition too) king bed room. We went back to the desk to explain the problem. The desk clerk was EXTREMELY rude to us. The first words out of her mouth were Well, it s not my fault! Then she proceeded to tell us that no such room existed so the manager had given us that room instead. NOT COOL. We were being charged for something that apparently didn t even exist. It was a holiday weekend so finding another hotel was almost impossible. We did manage to find something else but it was twice the cost. The clerk didn t even apologize or attempt to fix the problem in any way. My hasband called the Ramada 800 # to complain but hasn t heard anything back whatsoever. We will definitely think twice before booking with Ramada.
Like: good bed, soft sheets, very cool a/c, nice channel selection, easy to connect to wireless internet.
Dislike: incredibly slow and inept front desk service, only window in room looked out to interior hallway, common areas & hallways not air conditioned, small fuzzy vintage TV from 1990, no toilet paper holder (had to reach back to the tank top), the IHOP breakfast was a limited menu and you had to go back to the pathetic, wait forever front desk to get a voucher--why not give me the voucher when I got my room key?
I stayed here for a week on company business and first things first they had my reservations messed up. When i did get a room it had 4 light bulbs blown, the coax plug on the back of the tv was broke, not enough plug ins for all the appliances, no microwave, and my towel had a hole in it that you could fit a soda can through. Definetly needs to be remodeled.
I was here for a 3 Day stay. May 28th thru may 31st 2010. It's a older Hotel nicely remodled for family's. Thier is an awsome lobby inside for bussiness meeting. Also, extra rooms for private patry's. Thier is a inside /outside POOL very clean. Thier is a small kids golf range and 2 pool tables. Nice & Comfy with a resturant attached with very good food @ a decent price. Breakfeast FREE! (When ordering off a Special Menu.) Thier are penty of places to shop down the road. Like...Pizza, Steaks, Fast Food, Fish & other resturants. Manicures, Tans, & so on. Everyone was nice & kind. Keep in mind its an older model Hotel. Very Nice for the$$$.
nice clean hotel with friendly staff. Spent the weekend at this hotel the beds were comfortable, room was clean the only thing i would change is the shower heads were way to low. We will definatly stay here again.
My family hosts a family reunion there every christmas and we have for the past 10-15 years. It doesnt dissapoint me.. The 2007 reunion was kind of upsetting because the pool was down and they kept telling us it would be open but it never happened. But they where just fixing it up to make it look better. Like it does now. The rooms are pretty nice. Sometimes bathrooms are dirty though. They dont have many housekeepers. Last visit there was only 2 and one of them wasnt working. The front desk is sometimes slow. But they dont have much help. I do like the hotel for its lobby. Its lobby is great, and fun to play in. They have a nice workout room and game room but sometimes the games are broken. It was once a verrry nice hotel and their working at building it back up. I like this hotel and our family will continue to have a rueunion there every christmas for a long time to come.
Very Dated rooms. Broken towel racks in the corner. Coffee maker with no coffee pot. Electrical sockets hanging out of the walls. Dirty rooms, lumpy carpets, dirty grounds and parking lots filled with beer cans and assorted trash. Mattresses leaning against walls out side the room stairs. The free breakfast turned out to be hostess dough nuts and cheap pastries. Definitely my last stay at this place. Pay a few extra dollars and get a decent place. Ramada should not have allowed occupancy in a number of these rooms, one of which was mine.
