Iannucci's Pizzeria & Italian, Asheville

I was very disappointed in Iannuci's. We ordered the combo dinner which is supposed to be authentic lasagna, chicken parm and stuffed shells. It was authentic alright, authentically horrible! The lasagna was just cheese with noodles and marinara from a can, the chick parm was made from from processed patties and the stuffed shells were dry from their lack of flavor. My 5 yr old grand daughter could have made this meal.For 13.95 I expect good food but before I visit here again I will choose eating Chef Boyardee. At least i'll get mymoney's worth!!!!

I grew up in NY and have been on a quest to find good pizza in the AVL area. I have dragged my husband to many places to look for pizza to suit me (he's not nearly as picky as me). This is it! Haven't tried anything else on the menu, and all we ever get is the cheese (good pizza doesn't need any other topping), but can definitely recommend their pizza!

I can't believe some of the ratings posted here. This is, by far the worst Italian food I have ever had and the menu is a stinker.

These guys are the best of the best! Makes my Italian heart sing! The food is great...beyond great really and their pizza is my very favorite! Yum!

Iannucci's always delivers excellent Italian food. Service a bit slow sometimes but that seems to be the norm nowadays. Rich, buttery manicotti a favorite. Cannolis make for a good dessert. (Note: several years since we have visited here)

this is a review of the new ianucci's, at the location of the former bella regina restaurant in hendersonville, having eaten lunch there on saturday, february 6th. i'll be succinct: although the pizza ordered had a good taste, the toppings ordered for half were piled sloppily on about 3 slices, and were enough black olives for a whole pie. the center third of the pizza was soggy. afterward, we waited in line about 10 minutes to pay, and the hostess/cashier was obviously stressed out and somewhat rude. to wit: putting together good tasting ingredients is one thing, but it's the details of preparation, and the ambience of the environment, that completes the picture and creates repeat business from me. i, for one, miss bella regina.

Just finished dining at Iannucci's for the first time. Very satisfied. Food was great, not gourmet, but excellent basic italian food, service was terrific, attentive, but not hovering, and the breadsticks fantastic, all for a very reasonable price. I will go back, and often.

In the Asheville area, this is the BEST pizza and salad and decent italian food at a fair price to boot! Mellow Mushroom has nothing on this place other than their high prices! It is crowded often for a reason so sometimes the service can seem a bit rushed. We have never had bad service when eating there but often take out is rushed, again, they should take care of those there. The food has always been excellent and we take friends and family from out of town there and they all love it! This is one of our top five places to eat and is number one for italian and pizza!

Almost rated it as poor...at least as far as the service. I took a friend of mine to the restaurant and since we arrived early (4:30) we thought we'd avoid the rush. Well, we avoided the rush--we were the ONLY people in the restaurant. The hostess seated us ALL THE WAY IN THE BACK of the restaurant. The waiters/waitresses kept vacuuming the floor, looking at us, talking between themselves and never came to our table. Ten minutes later, we still had not been waited on (even to ask what we wanted to drink) so we got up and talked with the manager. He did not seem the least bit concerned that we had to wait for someone to come to the table--even though there wasn't anybody in the restaurant! We will probably not go back--amazing how something so simple as a waitress doing her job can influence whether someone frequents the restaurant. Actually, doing your job is not a simple thing at all...it is YOUR job.
