Harbor Inn is a famous seafood chain in North America. With several locations across the US, it has been delighting patrons with its fresh and appetizing fruits de mer. Try dishes like the Clam Chowder New England, Broiled Alaskan White Fish and one of the cold platters. What's astonishing is that in spite of its apt location, generous portions and huge varities, it still manages to be receptive and fair when it comes to the prices. This is not a formal place, it is child friendly and takeaway is also an option, if you are on the run.

This is the absolute WORST seafood that I have ever had. I went here and was served raw seafood. When I complained to the waitress, she didn t care and neither did the management that I complained to either - and they still made me pay. I have visited other Harbor Inn Seafood Restaurants and the quality of food and service puts this one to shame

Brown iceburg house salad with saltines, tasteless onion rings, 10 calamari rings on a large plate with .... nothing else. Shrimp were not clean. Fake sour cream and spread instead of butter. Both sitting on table with labels stating they should be kept refrigerated. Cocktail sauce that was little more than ketchup. First and last time there. Just bad.

As i was passing through town the other day, I stubbled upon this place. As i walked inside the huge cakes took me off guard. I sat down at a table and as i read over the menu i thought to myself how affordable the prices were. I ended up ordering the alasken white fish with french fries and cheese sticks. I must say it was very good. And i just had to get a slice of the coconut cake i spotted as i walked in the door. I was very pleased with my visit and if i ever happen to go back to asheville i will definietly stop by again.

I had the best tasting and least expensive lunch at Harbor Inn on Tuesday! I had their perch and shrimp lunch special and also a piece of red velvet cake. The piece of cake was soo huge, I had enough left for my coworkers back at work!! I will definitely make this my new lunch spot.

If you like seafood, this is the place for you. The portions are big and the service is quick and friendly. Make sure you try this place if your visiting.
