MY HUSBAND AND I ATE AT FATZ FOR THE FIRST TIME AND ABSOLUTELY LOVED IT. OUR WAITRESS, AMANDA LEE, WAS ONE OF THE BEST WAITRESSES WE'VE EVER HAD. WHEN I INQUIRED ABOUT THE CALABASH CHICKEN, SHE BROUGHT US A SAMPLE, AND IT WAS DELICIOUS--HAD SHE NOT BROUGHT A SAMPLE, I NEVER WOULD HAVE ORDERED IT! A GREAT RESTAURANT, THE PRICE WAS RIGHT AND THE FOOD WAS PLENTIFUL!

While vacationing in Asheville, we wanted to find a nice place to eat. A lady at the hotel where we were staying, reccomended Fatz Cafe on Sparta Ave. She said they had a variety of good food so we decided to eat there. My husband had the ribs and steak, I asked for fish and shrimp. It was hot and so good ! We also sampled the chicken, all are favorites of ours. Wish we had a Fatz in the eastern part of NC, where we live. Our waitress was so kind and such a pleasant person , making us feel special . She brought us everything we needed before we asked. The manager also came out and talked to us. He was such a nice person. If we are in the vicinity again , we will definitely be back. Thanks to all who work there.

We LOVE this restaurant and Daron the manager. Our family has made it our midway place to eat between the family (Waynesville NC and Greer SC) The food and service is never disappointing! We really do feel like a regular everytime we go! Go Soon and you will go back on a regular basis:)

I had the pleasure of eating here on several occasions and have always been impressed with the level of service and amazing food. This is the only place I feel special every time I go in the manager always stops by and knows me on a first name basis. I usually get the amazing chicken and fill up on rolls, every once in a while treating myself to a cobbler. This is the place to eat in Asheville

This place is AWESOME!!! The staff is so friendly and the food is amazing we had a new sampler plate with a marinated steak shrimp and chicken and it was only 13 dollars. WAY better than Cheddars I love Fatz...

FOOD, SERVICE AND VALUE ALL GOOD.

We loved the food but the seating was cramped. We are larger people and the booths we very cramped.....other than that we loved it. The small order of cheede fries were totally awesome.....you could make a meal for the family on the just the small order.
