Lulu's on Main, Sylva

Love the atmosphere and good food. One of my favorite resturants! A must go!

Lulu's food is incredible! I was there for lunch this week and had the most amazing roasted leek, collard green, and hominy soup with homemade cornbread. My family has been eating there for 15 years and we have never had a bad experience.

Ok... so for years, I too have been going to LuLu's because it never let me down. Today was the exception! They boost fresh ingredients, however, my Pasta Salad ala Greque today had rotten yes, rotten tomatoes on it. I called and let them know.. One would think they would offer to redo the order. Nope. The person that answered the phone said she would tell the kitchen and hung up! Always sad to see a good restaurant go bad.. no longer fresh ingredients.. but the cheapest. I am sure if Southern Living would eat there now they would not be nearly as impressed. So sad..

Who would have thought you could get California cuisine in Sylva? And it's good! Go in for the plantain dishes and stay for dessert. This restaurant has it together!

Lulu's is my favorite restaurant ever! My husband and I make a point to eat there every time we are in the area for Western Carolina Univ. football games. Great food, great atmosphere and great service!!!

Visited this SUPER restaurant while passing through town. The meal was great especially the Salsa! It's the best salsa I've ever taste! I recommend Lulu's Cafe to anyone!

I travel all over the state with my job, and I always look forward to my trips to Sylva so that I can dine at Lulu's! It's located in the quaint downtown area and has nice patio seating for warm days. The Pasta a la Greque (sp?) is my favorite - a warm pasta salad with greek veggies tossed in a lemon herb vinaigrette and topped with melted feta.

I have been to Lulu's 2 or 3 times when I've been to the area to visit family. The atmosphere is nice, quiet. The food that I've had is good (but I must say, I haven't sampled many things due to my personal food preferences). Its also a tad pricey, but again, you're getting pleasant atmosphere, home-made food, and fresh ingredients. Nothing tastes "out-of-a-box". I would recommend it for the experience.
