Snappy's Italian Rest Pizzeria, Maggie Valley

My wife and I have eaten at Snappys many times but the last visit we took our entire family and the food was not good. It took forever to receive the food and when it came out it was cold. There werent many people there and only a couple workers. The owner wasnt available to speak with and the waitress didnt know what to do to offer help. It was just sad to see the reasturant we enjoyed going down hill. I have also heard this from others visiting as of late.

My wife and I enjoyed dinner at Snappy's when we visited Maggie Valley in Aug. 2012,very friendly service, great food and plenty of it ,we have visited Maggie Valley four times now and this is the best place we have found to eat at so far!

Well, we went to Snappy's...yet again, since I just can't get enough of Chef's creations! This time I had Eggplant, and all I can say is OMGosh!!!!!!!!!!!! Pure Ambrosia! Not the typical Eggplant Parm tired old meal....Great taste, eggplant wonderfully crispy with such flavor, oye....and of course, Spags....omgosh! PLUS, we had the salad, with the most delicious dressings, this time we had several to sample....truth be told, I wound up with more than one dressing, and did they meld well~Of course, what would be a dinner out at Snappy's without the most incredible French Onion Soup in the world, much better than anything I've had, even in NY! We'll be back for our next visit with Garrett Anderson in a week, and I soooo can't wait! Wonder what delights he has in store next week. Oh, and did I say how loving all the Snappy family is? Just like going to your Grandma's for a visit, we had our Great Granddaughter with us and right away, they brought little samples out for her! We ordered her some ravioli.....even the Kiddie portions are enormous! She did quite a job on it, ate six huge ravioli...she had the cheese...I tasted it....delicious! I really, REALLY hope you'll all go, try it out. I know you'll be blown away and become addicted to Chef Garrett's delights! You won't be disappointed!

on our very first night in Maggie Valley We ordered a pizza for delivery. was told a 45 min wait got it in 30 mins great service and the pizza was great for a late night meal

Based on previous reviews we decided to stop in this little place while in Maggie Valley. Unfortunately we were given a waitress that basically whispered whenever she talked, and seemed down as if her favorite pet just died.. To start my wife ordered Meat Lasagna that said it included Garlic Knots & Dinner Salad, however, the waitress did not inform us that it no longer included Garlic Knots and they have not updated the menu. The lasagna and salad portions were very small for the hefty $14.99 Price tag and a small side of ranch dressing was oddly high at $1.29. My selection fared much better as I ordered a 6oz Rib Eye, Dinner Salad & any side for $10.99. However, It was not any side as they charged me 30 cent extra for a sweet potato. In the end the Meat Lasagna was fairly chewy and would be considered decent at best, but the steak was cooked very well and tasted great as other reviews had mentioned. If you are looking for a steak around the area then this place would not be a bad idea, unless you wanted to head over to a more expensive place such as J Arthurs. For the Italian food & service it may be a hit or a miss..

Wow this was the best place u can ever eat I got to go in the kitchen to meet the waitresses and I'm only ten years old so now when I come to Maggie valley I know where I'm going for know on know if I was a critic I would put this as the best in north Carolina . When I taste the steak it blue me away with A1 sauce ummmmmm well can't wait to try the ribs.$ caching

Oh my goodness. The best steak I have EVER had and I usually do not like steaks. I used a knife but almost didn't need one. NO STEAK SAUCE. Wow. My husband had the Italian sampler and it was wonderful. So much food, we took food back to the hotel. This was my birthday and I WILL be back. I felt special, the owner came out and checked on me and gave me dessert. If you eat out once go to Snappy's. Italian food but has the BEST Steaks anywhere. If you are in Maggie Valley you have to go!

We have been coming to NC for 6 yrs. and we joined friends there for our first time. It was a pleasant experience for us. Garrett came over to welcome those at our table. Our waitress was very accommodating and checked on our needs often. The garlic rolls are unique and delicious. Food was very good and ample! Thank you Snappy's.

Wow!!!!! Was on a bike trip with my brother ( who lives in Ca) And my 30 yr old, who also live in Ky,,as I do! I didnt think it could get any better than a bike trip with my brother, and son! We had a wonderful trip and decided to stay a night in Maggie Valley! What a great little town! The last thing I expected was a wonderful Italian rest. in a small town in N C. The service was wonderful. The food was fabulous!!!! There is no way I could eat my portion!!!! ( Italian Meatloaf)!!! Best Italian food Ive ever eaten!!!! Keep up the good work!!! Ill be back!! Thanks for helping make this a trip of a life time!!!!! I never expected a meal like that in Maggie Valley!!! We had rode bikes to maggie valley didn't really know many places to eat being we were out so late and most everything had closed! So we stopped in at Snappy's and I can say by far this is the best place I have ever ate at before! They serve massive amounts of food and you will not go home hungry and everything was excellent! The breadsticks are better than any I have ever tasted! The service is awesome and the owner came out and chatted with us for a bit! I highly recommend this place to eat if you are ever in maggie valley! When I come back thru next year I will be stoppin by again for sure!! Thanks for the great hospitality Snappy!!
