Great old-fashioned food, with a homey feel. Like Mom's table.

Racheal Ray recomended this one and boy was she right. Fantabulous dishes all with locally grown fresh ingredients. 5 stars

We visited the Early Girl Eatery this past weekend. We are from out of town so their website came in handy. Although some of the prices on the website are wrong. The food and service were great. We had the duck and the chicken. The organic veggies and locally produced menu items were a big plus for us. The sqaush cassarole was just like grandma's! The menu had a nice variety and made us want to come back and try the different offerings. Service was outstanding and the price was very reasonable for downtown around $15 a person. The atmosphere was quaint and charming with a small intimate candle lit dining room. We were able to sit near the windows with a veiw of prichard park. The art in the dining room was fabulous to look at also. The only complaint would be that it got noisey but there was a larger party in there and it died down when they left. All around great spot. We will be back!

This is one of my fav's, well, really, i eat here everyday. Local Organic supporting local farms and warren wilson farm. Southern with a twist of Asheville (i think) .. Bread pudding that will make u dream of the next time u can find it on the menu and the prices are not to bad either... this place is a ust try.. i can not state that enough !!!! you MUSt eat here
