Wasabi Japanese Restaurant, Asheville

This restaurant is one of my favorites in ashville. I love the sushi and om goodness it is always grea to have the politest staff to communicate with. Would reccomend to friends iwthout kids though.

Hands down the best sushi in town. Service is prompt and usually friendly. Price is what you expect for sushi but there is no children's menu. Great specials and Hibachi dishes are excellent. Godzilla roll is my favorite. I highly recommend this place.

Wasabi is a fabulous sushi restaurant, and they have nice hot entrees too. It's a nice, quiet environment in a very convenient downtown Asheville location. A good choice for sushi lovers or the less adventurous diner...there's something for everyone.

We tried Wasabi this past weekend and I will definantly be going back. Great atmosphere.... had the sushi party tray for two and it was incredibly yummy and plenty of food for two people. Can't wait to try the Blue Ridge Roll next visit...looked awesome! Had a margarita from the bar and enjoyed it as well even though the waitress spilled it into my lap about half way through......was given another at no charge. Fun, upbeat place to eat.

Wasabi is a great place with excellent food. Try the godzilla roll and tofu vegetable soup. You will love the staff and wonderful atmosphere. Excellent sushi!

Visited Wasbi two years ago when I was out in NC and had to back this last trip in August. VERY good sushi and service. The menu is extensive with some interesting rolls and specials. Fun atmosphere but crowded and noisy, the prices are great and a wonderful sushi for the money.

We were recommended to Wasabi by a clerk from the local bookstore because our original place was so crowded, and we were kind of skeptical at first because the place was almost empty when we arrived, but we went ahead and ordered our foods due to hunger and by the time we finished eating, there was a big crowd; seemed we beat the lunch crowd/rush! Since there were eight of us, we ordered almost everything from the menu: the edamame, the squid salad, the seaweed salad, sushi, hibachi grill items, and of course sashimi. We were all extremely happy with our orders for their taste and value, not to mention our lovely and friendly server. Not a place to miss if you're in Asheville. We're going there again this Sunday, February 19, for dinner. Join us ;-)!

Wasabi has amazing sushi, some of the best in town. It's a great place to walk in to if you are bumming downtown.
